"I have no idea where that came from, really," he says. Then, after just a moment, he pauses, grins, and adds "But then, so many things are better with a willing and able partner; perhaps I was inspired."

"Well, do you really know?" Yoshi responds playfully, trying to keep his expression neutral with the gathered people around.

But now he had an issue, approach one and ignore the other? He decided to stay put, just bowing to Koi in thanks for her greeting. He had already interrupted Yoshi once and he didn't want to distract Murato and Nesshin from their performance.
