"Hmm. You've struck a deal. This one will sing your praises to the heavens for all the pretty samurai-ko to hear," she smiles back tiredly.

"And for now, lie back and rest. You seem exhausted and I have all the energy I could need. I'll hum you something to relax to."

[Usogawa Narumi]

She regards him with a quirk of one eyebrow for a long moment. "Alright." Her eyes close and she moves herself into a more comfortable position.

When she relaxes, he settles in himself and offers a relaxing tune to help her calm. He hums gently, offering a peaceful atmosphere to help her forget her worries for a time.

She felt more at peace as her thoughts slowed and her aches dulled. Letting herself be present in the moment, instead of focusing on her failures in the morning, or what may be in her future. It was unfamiliar territory for Narumi, but that did not make it unwelcome.

He continued humming, switching tunes every once in a while, until she felt it was either time to leave or was relaxed enough to want to speak again. He was in no rush and tended to be more concerned with other's well being than his own.

After a time, her eyes opened, and she regarded Murato for another moment. "Thank you. I do feel better."
Narumi considered. If she weren't so taken with another, she could see herself having feelings for this one. Maybe those feelings grew, regardless. After all, he had never shown her anything but quiet kindness, bordering on tenderness, that she was unaccustomed to. She could grow accustomed to being around the Lion.
"I... should get going. There are others things to attend to on this dreary day that require my attention, and I'm afraid I'll still move at a slower pace than my usual self."
