(D1, ME) Everyone wants to be a Sailor (Play)

She takes the briefest moment to look over the Phoenix. "Hai, Shiba-san? We've not had the pleasure! But now we are well met and I am happier for it." she seems a bit rellieved. "I am called Usogawa Narumi. How has the day treated you, this one hopes it has been kind?"

[Shiba Raizo]

"Ah, Usogawa-san, I could complain, but who would care?"

He winked, evidently meaning it as a joke.

"I am Shiba Raizo, and were I capable of charm, I would say something about how things are looking better now for having met you, but since I'm not... do you know much about plays?"

A laugh escaped before she touched her fingerpads to her lips to quiet it. "And yet despite your best effort, you've charmed me nonetheless.
A no, I am no connoisseur, I'm afraid, just a simple entertainer myself who enjoys the stories."

"It's just... I haven't seen one since before my gempukku, and I was... bored with that one."

He glanced about at their surroundings.

"So it's a bit... alien to me."

Plays were not something Senseki was particularly used to. Of course some were held in Sparrow lands now and then... but always simple things, often draw-lot like, or based on improvisation. Only when there was a large festival or something of the sort some of their Crane heritage showed through... but always with much simpler props and garments, of course.

As such, this wasn't exactly up the woodsman's alley... but he was at least a bit curious, so there he was, wicker hat covering his head as usual - although he did take it off after entering, followed by a couple minutes trying to make his hair seem a bit less of a mess.

He wondered what this would be about...

[Kitsu Murato]

The entrance of the Sparrow that seemed to be looking for a place, in Murato's mind, saw the Lion seeking his attention to get him to come join him at his seat. He'd never met a Sparrow and was a bit curious.

[Bayushi Minae]

Bayushi Minae made an appearance at the theater as well. Great attention had been paid in detailing her makeup and hair for the evening, and while her outfit was not scandalous, it was chosen to highlight her better features. Her fan, unfurled, showed a rose with rather sharp looking thistles.

She fans herself and scanned the crowd, clearly waiting for someone, but learning what she could while she waited.

[Seppun Yuzu]

The young lord of Chisei enters the theater a tad late, and also looking a bit lost –– despite looking quite elegant. He scans the crowd for a moment, trying to find someone specific. Then, after removing a potential sweatdrop, he marches forward. After all, a promise is a promise.

Once near the Scorpion maiden, he bows, adding, "Good evening Bayushi-san. I hope Inari-kami has been kind today."

Minae returns the bow graciously, holding it for an extra moment for the appreciative Seppun.

"Indeed, Seppun-sama, I felt all the Fortunes smiling upon me as the hour drew nearer. I hope that your wait for this evening was similarly pleasant." she says with a small smile.

[Kuni Yasu]

The stony quality of Ishioka's face flickers as his eyebrows rise in response to the compliment -- or innocent small talk -- and he turns to speak to

"Kakita-san, my apologies, but I... would speak with Kuni-san privately. Please excuse us... I hope to speak more another time." His voice sounds neutral but slightly distant, as though he's already begun moving away from Sakura and the rest. He bows his head somewhat abruptly and heads inside, locating a corner that is less populated and seems convenient for a conversation that isn't truly private, butt reaches fewer sets of ears.

Yasu's smile fades to some concern at the obvious urgency but nods once. "Of course, Matsu-san. Many apologies, Kakita-san, but we should certainly speak another time, i hope."

With proper farewells, and bows, she follows the young Matsu inside. There's no wasted chatter, just a simple, "what's happened?"
