I saw the game yesterday, went on a call with "God" on discord and generated a character.
I'm learning as a go and hoping it works. xD So please take patience's with me, it's been about 4 years since I played any L5R.
I think my last game I was in play by post wise was Kyuden Suzume where I played Hida Oda - The Crabuki actor!

D9, has a broom in hand and bandages on his hands.
D10-12, has a small whisk broom also thrust through his obi.
D11+, has a second fan.
