Hajime really didn't have much a head for this spiritual stuff, but thought he'd give it a shot. Sitting next to Taemon, he did his level best, but the deeper meanings eluded him. He was, however, able to point out an interesting constellation to Taemon.
Bo knew nothing about fortunes or fate or stars. He had found what he sought and now it would just be down the Deer whether that happened or not. Either way he would do his duty.
Tanabe enjoyed laying with Yasu and having her explain some of the things she knew about the stars a small smile on his face as she talked of fortunes and omens and really just listening to her voice. He may have missed some of what she had said.
Tanabe loved the stars he'd spent more than a few nights laying out on the deck looking up into the sky or with his legs dangling off a dock. The stars were also useful for navigation and knowing the constellations helped plenty in being able to quickly identify certain groupings and orient oneself on the water.
However anything deeper than "Stars are pretty points in the sky that help steer boat" were lost on the big lug. When asked about new meanings for the stars he stuttered something that counted as a response and Pei Pei gave him a small smile that had more than a little pity in it. When asked about the Mystic ramifications Tanabe could do nothing but stare blankly at the Shika Nakodo bowed and hurriedly fled the scene.
Lying on blankets under the stars? The Deer could hardly have made a more pleasant setup as Yasu rests beside her Otter, pointing up to trace out the constellations she's learned, even though they shift once past the Wall. "That one is the sign I was born under. The lantern was right overhead, and Kisshoten's star just to the edge of the light it throws." Shoulder to shoulder is companionable, but not *too* scandalous, right?
"But that's not all that important when you can see Bishamon's star in the thick of the river there, and that fuzzy tailed star worries me. They often mean trouble, and of course we've been seeing more trouble at our end of things."
Her gaze moves, and pauses, finger tracking to follow, with a chuckle. "Oh...hmm, and Kisshoten's star there near the growing moon is ah, a good time for starting children."
There seemed to be few stars or combinations that didn't seem to mean something if she spent a moment or so thinking on it, and she happily spends the time showing them to Tanabe, and listening as he describes what he might know or interpret from their placement. She didn't much worry about what the oddly pale Pei Pei and other Deer might make of her eventual report.

The stars... he had long held an appreciation for them though he didn't speak of them often. But in particular, tonight he hoped to share them with the woman he loved.
To that end he was at the top of his game. He was able to point out and explain the meaning behind each constellation of importance, as well as tie them back into lessons and truth of the world.
Yuzu recalls how his mother, an Astrologer, and a direct descendent of the Hantei, used to recall the story of every single star in the night sky. How she shared that tail with him, and his sister.
He takes a deep breath and considers what may have told him to do. To search beyond his current capabilities to form something knew. To think of water, but, especially, his inner fire.
The young boy finds the stars guide to Lord Moon, and he lifts himself from the blanket as his eyes get fixed into staring the celestial being. Soon, Yuzu completely zones out, as he finds connection with the void.

Edogawa spent a very long time watching the stars and trying to understand what insights they might hold. He couldn't quite remember what each star represented, or even where each star was, but he had gleaned something from studying them.
