Koi had come to the temple after fretting all day, working through things in her mind and after some time to calm down. Her hands were worn from doing her woodworking all afternoon but she finally felt calm and in control - mostly. She had brought a small parcel of tea, and steamed dumplings from the market on her way to the temple and of course Koi brought her shadow of Genkai dutifully following behind her.
Entering the temple Koi began to look around for Nesshin as she knew he would be stationed here today before pausing as her body stiffed, and her jaw tightened noticing him talking to the Imperial Unsei whose back was to Koi but was in clear line of sight of Nesshin. She stopped mid-step and did not want to step into that hornets nest - she couldn't deal with that - and pivoted on her heel heading towards the Sakura Tree giving them some privacy unless stopped.
