Following lunch, Raizo headed back out into the rain.

Back to the pond.

Here goes...

He walked out onto the surface of the pond, letting the raindrops fall around him.

Then he sat down on the surface, took another breath, shifting his approach, using the sound of the raindrops and the ripples of the pond to tune out his surroundings.

The world fell away as Raizo sat atop the pond, the gentle rain pattering on his jingasa.

"What in the name of Shiba's beard are you doing?" the Scorpion asked from underneath his own jingasa. He stood at the edge of the pond, head tilted as he watched Raizo...do some bullshit.

The Phoenix cracked an eyelid open to peer at the Scorpion.

"I am sitting on top of the water and meditating. It seemed the thing to do."

He donned his most punchable smile as he closed his eyes again.

"What are you doing?"

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

"Looking for rocks to throw at your stupid face", he said, actually looking around.

"Think there might be some near that hedge to your left..."

He did pick one up, and he did throw it, just not at his face.

Right into the pond, just beneath him. He expected to hear a rough crack, rock hitting rock amid water. Though just the sploosh...and the satisfying splash of water that hit Raizo. Not quite the tidal wave he'd hoped, but if it broke his concentration he'd have a snicker at least.

It's raining, he can't get that mad...

Well, the man certainly could. Hikimasu was in a mood though, maybe he wanted to fight.

Raizo stayed put, bobbing a bit like a cork, but without falling in.

"I once used this technique to run across sea waves after a boat full of Mantis."

He cracked an eyelid and grinned.

"So, you know. I'd use a bigger rock next time."

The Scorpion snorted. "I was checking to see if you sitting on a rock under the water." He looked around a bit more, like he had something he expected, then slumped down against a tree. "Not like it matters...", then he laughed. "Even the guy who claims he's shit at this can walk on water. I'm over here getting thrown around by the storm."

[Shiba Raizo]

"Now, now. I've seen you in the company of one of the loveliest women at this miai, and actually harmonizing. I think you're floating better than you know."

Well, he did know that. He wasn't an idiot.

No he was am idiot. An arrogant one.

Hikimasu tossed a twig at Raizo, it missed.

"Reminding me is welcome, i am proud of the moment, but...there are other things, too."
