Starting D1, has a silver and purple ribbon tied to his obi, as well.
D9, has a broom in hand and bandages on his hands.
D10-12, has a small whisk broom also thrust through his obi.
D11+, has a second fan.

Thinking about it, I'm surprised we still haven't had a speed dating event, where people are semi-randomly paired in threads for a talk over tea.
Probably more of a Scorpion miai concept (with every participant wearing a mask) than a Deer one I guess.

Moto strategy 101:
1. If the enemy is far away, fire your bow.
2. If the enemy is closing by, ride away, then go back to 1.
Kaito: I don't ride horses.
Shiba: I don't use bows.
Mitsuki: Clearly, there's a reason the Phoenix is not renown for its military prowess.
Joke aside, 5ed is more generous with giving bows to characters than 4ed... But that makes the non-palatial bushi schools that don't receive one stand out even more.
(meanwhile, Akodo Commander have more weapons on them than a Skyrim character)

I'm trying to play with it by having Raizo go, "we have people for that," in honor of the old Phoenix CCG curse- a lot of moving parts that when they line up kick ass, and when they don't, fall flat on their face...
