From the depths of their pillowed tomb, two sets of heartbeats rapped through two bodies. The Kitsu's deep breaths slid along like affectionate strokes

"Fortunes, I could just lie like this forever - oh, I forgot!"

Gently lifting and replacing his accompanying figure with a kiss, The Kitsu excavated himself from Makura no yama, loosely tying a yakuta around himself before doing some quick busy work - bringing the food(which had likely gone cold) and wine to the foot of the mountain, making sure his daisho was safe, and retrieving the calligraphy brush from his bag.

Taking a quick look at Seppun-sama in her fortress, he saw two different coloured pillows (and one taken from his? what?) and quickly composed a poem.


Lord Moon, Lady Sun.
We only see one - have they
Embraced around us?


"Forgive my sudden action but, I wanted to write you something - as a gift you couldn't predict, perhaps. I hope you like it."

He proffered the git over for inspection, like any good gift giver.

Unsei was more than willing to lay here with Moshumaru for the rest of the night and had zero intentions to move, but when he pulled himself away, they pouted.

"Could lie like this forever, but moves away in the same breath." The spoiled shugenja whined from between the pillows, now suddenly much colder. "Oh how the Fortunes have forsaken me to this frigid existence." After a moment of being dramatic, they lifted their head up. Honey-brown eyes peered over the mountain of pillows, gazing down on what the Kitsu was doing, even if his perfect form had been hidden away behind the ever annoying cloth of a yukata.

When he offered the piece of paper over to them, they tilted their head and slowly pulled themself away from the mound that they were laying on. Their obnoxiously long hair was splayed out across all the different cushions, but began to slowly return near their owner as they got out and walked over to him. Unsei didn't quite care to cover up though, which left them with only that obnoxious, silken hair as any form of modesty.

"Mmmm..." They murmured as a smile crossed their features, eyes gliding over the words on the paper. "You spoil me with all of these gifts. How such will I then ever repay you? I'd offer a fan or some mochi, but those are all rather boring and not at all creative." As they spoke, they moved themself into his lap and pressed their chest against his, their legs on either side of his lap. "My head is too muddled right now to think of anything. I'd ask if you could help me clear it, but it was you who made it so delightfully fuzzy in the first place."

(Lemme know if i need to tune it down or w/e. I dunno what level of rating we're going for on this forum xD but I know straight rated R is a no)

Sliding back out of his Yakuta and into the comforting abyss, he wrapped himself around the Seppun like a protective cover.

"Forgive my temporary absence - I was taught better than to approach the Imperial house empty handed and, well, lost myself."

As she spoke of return gifts, he planted a peck of adoration upon her cheek, sliding away a strand of hair to do so.

"I think... do you truly... how about..."

He thought desperately for what he wanted to say, but found nothing.

"My head is muddled as well. Perhaps we could ask the chefs to reheat our food or... something. Might as well enjoy the effort we put into all this. Oh, before I forget?"

A smile. Full of life, full of cheek, if a touch exhausted. Like a grand triumph over a mountain.

"Same time next play?"

"Mmm... You are forgiven, and trust me, you are most certainly not empty handed." The smugness in their voice at the end of their sentence hinted at what exactly they meant when they said that. "You've got a rather... enjoyable gift, among others."

"I do truly... Though, yes, I suppose we could ask them to heat it up for us. Cold yakisoba can be a bit... slimy at the best of times." They grumbled. "But, I've no want to get up or dressed to call someone in here to get them." It was the worst conundrum in the world.

At the mention of doing it again tomorrow at the same time, Unsei smirked and instead of giving a vocal reply, they planted a gentle kiss onto his lips to start, but then created a trail of kisses down to his neck before ending it with a soft nip on his collarbone. Finished with that, they shifted back to look at him as they licked their lips.

"A sample. For tomorrows delights."

At the mention of doing it again tomorrow at the same time, Unsei smirked and instead of giving a vocal reply, they planted a gentle kiss onto his lips to start, but then created a trail of kisses down to his neck before ending it with a soft nip on his collarbone. Finished with that, they shifted back to look at him as they licked their lips.

"A sample. For tomorrows delights."

Whoa.

...Still, he needed to do something about this food - if it was just left there, that'd be no good. With much regret and another kiss, he rose.

"Allow me to serve in this instance - I will redress to get our food reheated. Then we can enjoy our company over more menial things, like gossip, and wine."

He pointed a tad awkwardly to one of the pillows near the egde of the nest.

"And uh, if it's not too much of a problem they ah, appear to have taken a pillow from my room for our abode. I may need that to sleep tonight, but if you'd rather I could just..."
