[Susaki Tanabe]

Tanabe was not exactly a morning person, that was slowly changing with this miai as he had to be up and alert for the morning events but his natural tendencies was to enjoy being in bed for a couple hours after waking.

This morning he roused from his sleep and was not alone, the Crab's sleeping form next to him brought a happy smile to his face which grew a little sultry thinking of the night before, he hoped they hadn't disturbed Emiko or Narumi he thought playfully as he looked at Yasu. He propped up on an elbow to watch her while she slept, enjoying the peacefulness on her face. After a second he gave her a soft kiss on the forehead to slowly rouse her from yume-do.

Yasu, on the other hand, was usually up early to bathe and prepare her protective mask, settle her clothing, examine everything for signs of tampering in the night. Today she slept in, perhaps a bit more tired than usual.

The other thing usual about her sleep is that it was solitary, and surprises were not often good in her line of work. Despite all good intentions, she startles awake, reaching for a weapon that is not lying in reach in its normal spot, which is probably good...considering. After that startled second, her waking mind catches up, memory softening her expression as she reaches to embrace The Otter fiercely, heart still racing.

There's a flush along her cheeks as she pulls back a bit meeting his eyes with a bemused wonder. "Not a dream then."

It was quite fortunate that the area around his futon (which was slightly too short for him) was bereft of any weapons possible of causing any real damage. He put a soothing hand on her arm as she started and chuckled lightly "No Oni here sweet one, just an Otter still wondering if this is a dream." He said his voice even huskier than normal due to just waking up.

He leans down and kisses the blush on each cheek "mmm I doubt it was a dream if only because I don't think even yume-do could create such sweet images as the ones playing in my head." He said both lovingly and teasingly at the same time.

This does nothing to diminish the light blush as she reaches up to run a hand through his hair. "No, Yume-do's never given me anything as sweet as you. Though with these memories to draw on, maybe Yume-do will get a little more creative." She strokes gently down his side, from shoulder to hip, eyes following with soft smile. Daylight filters through the windows, offering a view different, but no less pleasant than the night before. "or we'll just keep creating new ones. I'll have to get less jumpy waking up, but..I like this."

he gave her a languid sleepy smile as his hand ran through her long hair "Yes, I dare say I could get used to seeing this face every morning." he said looking to her eyes as his hand moved over her body as well enjoying the way the morning light plays off of her skin. It was nice to be able to properly appreciate her form with his eyes and hands.

he let out a slow and low moan "You're a dangerous one Su-chan, I believe if it were up to me i'd never leave this room."

"Mmmmmm, Deer might have something to say about it," she says pulling him closer and pressing a kiss to his shoulder. Another low moan quietly attests to her appreciation of the press of their bodies like this, less fervid, but equally enjoyable. There's a taste of salt on her lips, and a sense of peace.

"Though it's their own fault, really." She speaks between kisses traveling up his throat as her hands explore. "They make it far too easy for everyone to indulge themselves, don't they?

It was his turn to release a small rumbling moan that started in his chest and stopped in his throat soft vibrations felt by the lips there.

His hand on her side moved to her back and slid down to one of his favorite curves giving Yasu a playful squeeze while pulling her against him. His excitement obvious even in this early hour "part of me thinks to Jigoku with what the deer think." He says grinning while she kisses him.

"I only hope we didn't disturb Usogawa-sama or Narumi-san too much." He said teasingly as he looked down to her. He gently grabbed her face and pulled her into a kiss deep and slow, full of passion but a different kind, not the fire from last night, the need but it was a smoldering heat, something slow but no less hot.

"Though they may have to get used to it." He said as the kiss broke.

She'd blush at the thought of his Otter cousins listening in, but any thoughts about that are rapidly derailed by the kiss--heat and memory and desire to hold onto every moment catch her breath and leave no room for embarrassment as her hands pull him close.

A small sound of disappoint accompanies the breaking of that kiss. "We can always spend some nights in my room to let them sleep," she says, ankle sliding up along his calf as she curls herself around him, seeking every bit of intimacy she can squeeze from the time. "or.." she grins.."switch to mornings?"

He chuckled at that "Yes I suppose it's only fair that we give them some reprieve." And his eyes flashed mischief at her second suggestion "Sounds like a wonderful way to start the day, but I thought good little priestesses started their days with prayer at a shrine." He teased as his arm came around her holding her close to his body as his hand absently explored what was within reach sliding over her back and side and rear.

"Or are the Kuni less regimented in their piety?" He asked still smiling but there was an air of genuine curiosity to his words.

Shifting a bit against him to settle within the curve of his arms, her long, long hair flowing past her shoulders. Yasu's hands slowly roam, growing familiar with the curves and planes of him, settling a moment at his hip as she grins up at him playfully. "This is my prayer to Benten" she leans in to kiss him, shorter, but no less passionate; "and to Musubi," her hand reaches behind her to find one of his, twining their fingers together with a squeeze; "and Kisshoten, for the blessings she has marked me with," she pulls him closer, using their joined hands, shifting against him in a rather pleasant fashion before pressing a small kiss to the hollow of his throat.

"The Kuni are pragmatic in our piety, Tana-kun. We ask the spirits what they need in order to serve as we need them to. We offer to the Fortunes what they have asked, knowing that they seldom truly intervene." She releases his hand, hers settling at the small of his back. "Even teasing, I'll only tell you the truth, love. Particularly of something serious."
