[D5, ME, Unsei's Room, Expecting] The Plays Suck. Let's Skip.

[Seppun Unsei]

After acquiring what they thought was just about every free pillow in the entire castle, Unsei had finally built their masterpiece. They stood back and stared at it with no small amount of pride in their honey-colored eyes.

Their masterpiece was literally just a massive pile of pillows. At this point, it was closer to a nest. Yet, it was their nest that they had built like the utter gremlin they were. Their nest that they would defend with their life if necessary. Nobody would be allowed to take ay of the pillows out without going through Unsei. Which, wasn't very difficult. They were a void and air-focused shugenja so a stiff breeze would knock them over, but that wasn't the point. The point was that this was the best pillow nest in all of Rokugan and it was theirs. Nobody else was taking a single piece of stuffing from it.

Oh, and they had also vaguely remembered that they had company coming over this evening, so they had ordered some dinner which was composed of some chicken yakisoba they had gotten from the common room earlier and some tea.

[Kitsu Moshumaru]

From the darkness outside the inn, a figure emerged. Its deep red hair dripped with a glisten of Susanoo's blessing, making the water droplets across the locally recommended wine seem almost mouth-watering. Adorned in black and gold, were it not for the marks of the Lion one might mistake this creature for some kind of Imperial - or some kind of ghost.

He also bore a... sack, of some kind? Which seemed designed to hold calligraphy kits.

Taking steps into the inn, Moshumaru traversed as directed to Seppun Unsei's room.

rap. rap. rap.

"Seppun-sama, Kitsu Moshumaru presents himself to you. I come bearing wine, if that helps - may I come in?"

[Seppun Unsei]

"Oh! Wine!" They chirped from inside. Behind the door was the sounds of rapid scuttling before Unsei finally opened the door with a smile. "Hello!" They appeared as normal today, or rather, with no make up, a flatter chest, and a slightly deep, but still vaguely feminine voice. As always, they were in their priestly robes, adorned with stars. However, the biggest thing was the lack of their hat. Currently it was sitting on top of their trunk, which allowed the Kitsu to easily see the rather large cowlick that stood up like it was praising the kami.

"Come in, come in. Don't want all my cooler air getting out. Though, I did also take the liberty in getting some food. Nothing fancy, just chicken yakisoba. There was some roasted veggies with it, but I might've gotten hungry and eaten most of those. I rather do enjoy veggies... I've also got mochi! But then again, I've always got mochi, so take that how you will."

[Kitsu Moshumaru]

"Oh! Wine!" They chirped from inside.

He felt his heart tugged at that one, for some reason.

That has to be, at most, every damn pillow here.

He implied that he was looking to plant a kiss on his compatriot for the evening, but waited for the go ahead.

"Thank you."

The Mourner stepped inside, proffering the wine with the appropriate gift giving ceremonies, if required.

"I see you you've gone to a lot of trouble to prepare for my arrival - my sincerest thank. Before we begin eating, there is one thing I'd like to... sample, if that's alright with you?"

He implied that he was looking to plant a kiss on his compatriot for the evening, but waited for the go ahead.

Unsei needed a lot of things, but gift giving ceremonies were the furthest from one of them. It just took up so much time and for nothing other than ego and an outdated tradition. So, after ignoring all of that, they took the bottle thankfully and then filled up a cup for their Lion guest before setting it down on the table.

Then they realized something. "Oh, the pillows? Ah... um... I had meant to build it earlier, so please dont feel like it was built in order for you, not that I don't appreciate you being here, but more as a please don't feel pressured to, ah, join me in the pillows. The last thing I would wish is for you to feel pressured into anything with me." They smiled sweetly before then blinking in confusion.

"Oh? What is it that you want to sample? I don't really have much to sample here, but I guess if you mean the pillow bed, then feel free to." There were times Unsei was decently smart and intuitive. Then there was every other time and the Shugenja was as dumb as a bag of rocks. "Or if it's anything else, that's fine. What's here is here to be shared."

Then they realized something. "Oh, the pillows? Ah... um... I had meant to build it earlier, so please dont feel like it was built in order for you, not that I don't appreciate you being here, but more as a please don't feel pressured to, ah, join me in the pillows. The last thing I would wish is for you to feel pressured into anything with me." They smiled sweetly before then blinking in confusion.

"Oh? What is it that you want to sample? I don't really have much to sample here, but I guess if you mean the pillow bed, then feel free to." There were times Unsei was decently smart and intuitive. Then there was every other time and the Shugenja was as dumb as a bag of rocks. "Or if it's anything else, that's fine. What's here is here to be shared."

The Kitsu chuckled a little. Perhaps he should be clear.

"It was your lips, Seppun-sama. I wished to sample what your lips tasted like before I had to share them with wine and dinner. Rest assured, I appreciate the concern but I am here to share the evening with you in exactly the manner you have prepared for, if you would have me."

Hopefully that should be clear enough.

The Kitsu chuckled a little. Perhaps he should be clear.

"It was your lips, Seppun-sama. I wished to sample what your lips tasted like before I had to share them with wine and dinner. Rest assured, I appreciate the concern but I am here to share the evening with you in exactly the manner you have prepared for, if you would have me."

Hopefully that should be clear enough.

"Oh." For just a brief moment, they seemed surprised, but then that soon disappeared and was instead replaced by a wide smirk. "You know, the wine and food can always be for later, Kitsu-san. I've no qualms with waiting to enjoy that when I've got you to enjoy first."

With a slow, deliberate motion, the Kitsu licked his lips, consuming the rest of the Seppun's essence before speaking. An omen of what was to come.

"Hmm - turns out Gremlin tastes pretty good. I could savour the taste all night - or several, perhaps. I have teased you enough, I think-" He said, placing his daisho in the corner of the room away from the door, before letting down the sides of his Yakuta.

"You said you wished to... 'enjoy' me, Seppun-sama?"

The Kitsu pulled in for a kiss, but it was more of a tease than a proper kiss. A hint of what was to come as the Kitsu savoured the taste of the Seppun on his lips before pulling away, just on the cusp of causing some kind of satisfaction.

With a slow, deliberate motion, the Kitsu licked his lips, consuming the rest of the Seppun's essence before speaking. An omen of what was to come.
