Soyokaze didn't like what he saw and was about to leave when he spots Raizo doing the same.

"Raizo-san, do you have moment? I was curious if you had presented it yet. Forgive me if I am being too nosey but to be honest you are only the second person outside my lord I have ever made something for."

"There is that." the Phoenix agreed. "What sort of plays has Bayushi-san enjoyed at the capital?"

"I suppose I like those that demonstrate some sort of moral, especially the subtle ones that make you reflect upon your own behavior. Did you ever hear of the Tragedy of Doji Jiro the Wise? That was a good one. Or anything that deals with the complexities of magistrates and machinations of malcontents. I like to practice my intuition and evaluation on the various suspects in the stories, you know?" Bayushi nodded. "I'm not half-bad, Shiba-san."

Bayushi laughed, glancing at Shiba as the lights came back up. "I think Kakita-san would have liked that one!" With a sigh he went on. "Not my favorite, but at least there was a moral. And an interesting demonstration of how a samurai - or two! - can be dominated by their desire. What did you think, Shiba-san?"

"Ah hai... but no umbrellas." She nodded.

He chuckled at that. "No umbrellas then," he said with a nod. Then he reddened a bit. "But if it is raining, be sure to have layers, Bai-chan."

White was pretty easy to see through when soaked. Not that he would be displeased seeing such. But he wasn't a perv trying to get a peep show, he was a flirt trying to get a smile and a blush, and maybe a touch of hands... or possibly a kiss.

Through the play, Taemon had a very serious expression throughout the performance.

"Hmm, the twin reference is interesting. I can see the draw between a Phoenix and a Scorpion with the symbolism of Bayushi and Shiba. Perhaps that is why the pair were drawn to the Scorpion? They were so similar that they each saw themselves as the missing half of the Scorpion." he suggested.

Soyokaze didn't like what he saw and was about to leave when he spots Raizo doing the same.
