Recovery:

At the start of each time slot, if you have taken more than 50% of your Endurance in Fatigue and/or 50% of your Compusure in strife, reset to 50% as you catch your breath. This occurs as long as you have not gone more than 24 hours without three consecutives time slots of sleep. If you have gone more than 24 hours without sleep, you will need to sleep for at least 6 consecutive hours (three times slots) to regain this recovery ability.

Opportunities that recover strife/fatigue (such as Water Opportunity to remove 2 strife or Earth Opportunity to heal 2 strife from someone else in the thread) are only applicable if the roll is for an event, pushing your agenda, or a roll called for by the gm. No sitting in your room failing art checks until you feel better. Opportunities spent to negate strife on a given roll are valid.

If you sleep for at least three consecutive timeslots in a day, once per day, you recover 2 x Water fatigue.

Once per timeslot you may pursue your passion, recovering 3 strife. You may not recover strife this way in a timeslot you are competing in an event, nor in a timeslot you are pushing your agenda.

If you are compromised, you may unmask to remove all strife. If you unmask in a non-event/non-event observation thread you lose 1 Courtship point, , and if you unmask in an event thread or event observation thread, you lose 3 courtship points.

You may receive medical aid from the Deer if injured. They will restore you to full endurance, but this will cost you 1 Courtship point per healing session.

At the start of each session, set your void points to half maximum.

Thread formatting:

(Date, Time) Thread Name (Optional location specification) (Optional Open or Closed Tag)

Examples:

(D1, EN) What are you doing in my room? (Saibankan's Room) (Closed)
(D2, EM) Walk of Shame (Open)
(D2, MM) Reflecting

There should only be only thread per timeslot per location.

Open indicates you are actively advertising for people to join the thread. Closed means you are not open to random people showing up. Do not put up closed threads in very public areas. Only subdivide threads with specific locations if you can reasonably be away from most people in the area (such as in your room, 200 feet up in the air, etc.). If a thread has neither Open nor closed on the subject line, please pm the person to make sure they're ok with you showing up in the thread as a courtesy, though you can still join them regardless.

Thread etiquette:

Keep in mind that timezone and real life obligations may delay any particular person in a thread from responding. If a day has passed since their last response, you may pm them a friendly reminder since it's possible that they've either forgotten about the thread, or are simply not interested in responding. You do not literally have to take turns when posting with the others in the thread, but do try to give people you are interacting with in a group a chance to respond.

Outside of active combat/sparring, do not touch other characters without first pming the player to get permission. Yes, maybe you want to grab someone by the shoulder, trip them, glomp them, etc.....but they may not want that, and that should be respected.

More notes on recovery:

For indulging in a passion: These are meant to be roleplay opportunities, but you might not want to write fifty different threads about your particular passion. It is acceptable to mark in your private forum that you are leaving a specific time slot empty to indulge in your passion off-screen, or toss it at the end of a thread (Ex. "Alright, that was a good talk, let's go shoot some bows).

You may do threads to specifically trigger your Adversities or Anxieties to regain void points. This can even happen in an event or when pushing an agenda This one must be roleplayed out, no spending your time off-screen petting spiders.

More notes on recovery!

For pbp balance, the rules about pursuing your ninjo to reset your strife:

Since you are all here to get married, not attending the daily courtship event to instead pursue your ninjo will set your strife to 0.
