Yuzu gives the dojo all the proper deference and starts to stretch up to train. There was too much going on in his head at the moment and he needs a good time off to regain his balance.

Hikimasu also arrived and applied propriety before beginning. Seeing the Seppun he bowed but continued with his warm up.

He'd thought to go have a rest, but perhaps this would work out everything bothering his mind.

The Seppun approaches the Shosuro close enough to swing a hit with the bokken, and starts to observe him with squinted eyes.

Hikimasu didn't appear to think he was in any danger. In fact he stood rather calmly despite the gap being more or less closed. He even bowed low enough to see the floor and not the young governor (but could still see his feet in case they suddenly shifted aggressively >.>)

"Seppun-sama, have you had rice today?"

The Seppun returns a bow and says, "Hai. I have had. I hope Inari-kami has been kind."

"Let's spar, onegaishimasu." Is what he adds a half heartbeat after.

Well...great.

Hikimasu immediately tried to think of how to get out of doing so, while making the Seppun believe it was a grand idea that he should feel good about. Though it didn't seem like a request with the half added propriety.

"If that is Seppun-sama's wish", he said quietly and took two long steps back. They were both familiar with the way of the dojo, there wasn't any need to discuss terms. The question was, would Hikimasu make it look like he lost worse than he planned to?

"Sure. Let's have some fun while we are here." He says, and asks, "I did startle you, didn't I?"

"Seppun-sama, are you familiar with zanshin style kata and sparring?" he asked. "The method of meditative fighting, to sharpen your senses."

"I am so familiar, I would have invented that fighting style. But someone did first, so." He says, taking a deep breath.

"Then, begin", he said and slipped into his stance, ready for a fight.
