Tbf I think outside the lion few sane people actually are excited for war. The ones that are definitely are a bit unhinged, war is horrible especially the kind of close up in the muck war you have in rokugan.

Eh, even then. Toshigoku is also a known thing. There's very little pointing in the direction of war as the _best_ option for moving through the cycle, just a relatively rapid option for many. So yeah, the folks really into the thick of battle going "yeah, this is awesome!" are probably not the majority vs the ones there who're doing a job, and glad that they're good at it (or afraid that they're bad at it).

She is wearing a katana that largely is peace tied, and at night has a very fine lantern. She is being followed at all times by a Shika Guard at a distances. She wears a fine wooden carved bracelet with the Moth Clan symbol on it.

D9, has a broom in hand and bandages on his hands.
D10-12, has a small whisk broom also thrust through his obi.
D11+, has a second fan.
