"Some are rather stubborn others well... like to have me around for fun." The girl smiled at the memories. "What about you Kitsu sama?"

"My friends are junior sensei at the Akodo dojo back home. My coworkers are all bureaucrats like me, so everything is always very formal there. But the bushi? They have much more fun," he says.

"You don't want to have such..."The Phoenix gave it some thought. She remembered a certain Shiba who got injured many times. "If you have such lovely medics. Perhaps you were jealous of them." She giggled.

"Oh, no jealousy. But most Lion, even those that are not explicitly bushi, tend to aspire to be capable warriors. I'm not so different in that regard from the rest of my clan, so I find fellowship with bushi to be to my liking," he says with a smile. "Everyone has their preferences and their ways of cutting loose. But I can usually get along with most people. My family taught me plenty about religion, the Clan has taught me a fair amount about war, my school focused a good amount on arts and society, and an old monk friend from back home has instilled in me an appreciation for introspection. Of course, this means I probably couldn't claim to be an expert in anything as a result."

"Sometimes it is better to be a well rounded samurai than a gloating samurai." She nodded. "I am not really good in anything as well. Perhaps in patching wounds and hearts."

"I mean, I may be more well rounded, but if I had a specialty it would likely be gloating," he jokes. "That and being the most well rounded. More well rounded than any other well rounded samurai."
