(D2, ME) Erratic Love (Play)

[Seppun Yuzu]

The your Seppun arrives to the theater in his best outfit once again, and a somewhat exaggerated citric aroma following his steps. He had heard a good perfume could leave good impressions, and hormones started to get eager for unknown reasons to himself.

He takes some time to scan the crowd before actually mingling.

[Shika Nesshin]

"Mhm... lets see, A Bird In Winter's Flight is a very nice story, a drama with a bit of tragedy, romance; it's a Crane samurai's dealing with falling in love during his time at Winter Court , but there's jealousy, political intrigue, threats of dueling. If you'd like something more martial-focused and less court focused, Sunrise of Thunder Pass is a small group holding a pass against a much larger army. A lot of time was taken to make the 'combat' on stage impressive for the audience."

"I believe it," Nesshin says. "But what would you go to watch? Or, better, what would you want to put on, and what role would you play, and why?"

He leans in slightly, his interest clear.

[Bayushi Mitsu]

From the seats in the back a dark burgundy mask watched ... everyone. Its owner leaned back, sprawled casually, regarding each subject intently for long moments before moving to the next. A nod of respect here or there to those who looked back.

[Kuni Yasu]

Slipping in a bit close to the start of the play, Yasu heads for the back row. With her height, it's polite not to block everyone's view. The hems of her plain hakama are a darker blue than the rest, damp from her walk in the garden. The stark white of her face stands out above the equally dark kimono, framed by black hair, braided and looped out of her way.

"Pardon, Scorpion-sama. Is the seat taken?" She gestures to the space to his right.

[Bayushi Mitsu]

"Pardon, Scorpion-sama. Is the seat taken?" She gestures to the space to his right.

"Kuni-sama." The mask aligned towards her, and he nodded respectfully. "Please," he answered, waving to the space and adjusting his sprawl to not take up any of it. "These are the best seats, are they not, honorable shugenja? I am Bayushi Mitsu."

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

Hikimasu thought he'd watch the play tonight as well. He brought an umbrella, but didn't make a fuss of it, his yukata was cut nice enough, it all worked rather well until you looked him in the eye.

He found a seat, seeing some people he'd got to meet, but ultimately settling to take in the entertainment alone he imagined.

[Kuni Yasu]

"Kuni-sama." The mask aligned towards her, and he nodded respectfully. "Please," he answered, waving to the space and adjusting his sprawl to not take up any of it. "These are the best seats, are they not, honorable shugenja? I am Bayushi Mitsu."

"Kuni Yasu, apprentice to Kuni Mari. Pleasure to meet you Bayushi-sama," she offers the introduction with a bow before stepping into the space.

"So long as folks my size don't sit right in front of you, I guess they're pretty good." She settles to a seat, one knee bent up in front of her and one bent to the side, foot tucked up beneath the other to keep her large frame somewhat within the space alloted. "I'm more used to draw lot plays or traveling shows, honestly. Seating's way different and pretty much catch as catch can across the ground or someone's hall."

Yet again, the lanterns are dimmed as the play begins!

Erratic Love:

A badly failed acupuncture session leaves Kaiu Haruko wandering the city streets acting in a very erratic manner. Misadventures ensure as she crosses paths with a Kaiu Witch Hunter (who thinks she's under a dark influence), an Asako Inquisitor (that think she's possessed), a Shosuro spymaster (who think she's undercover), a Togashi monk (who think she's found enlightenment), and a kindly Miya courtier (who just wants to help).

Multiple chases ensue as the Kaui and the Asako fight over whether she needs to be purified or exorcised, the Shosuro keeps giving Haruko coded orders which cause her to behave in strangely effective ways, the Togashi keeps trying to study her wisdom and act upon it and the Miya just want to help the poor woman.

By the next day, the acupuncture wears off and a very confused Kaiu Haruko is presented with a marriage proposal from the Miya courtier!

[Suzume Senseki]

Senseki is there (even though his player's brain isn't quite working while posting), arriving fashionably late this time and keeping to a quiet part of the theatre to avoid making a fuss as the play is just about to start when he gets there.

As the play ends, he keeps quiet and thoughtful on his seat for a long while, but keeping an eye out in case anyone approaches.

[Susaki Tanabe]

Hajime's eyes lit on the giant minor clan samurai, and like a flash he was bowing and introducing himself. "Good evening, Otter-san. This one is Kitsuki Hajime, of Kitsuki Shunsuke's court. Are you...an aficionado of the theater?"

Tanabe looked down at the smaller Dragon "Helll Kitsuki-sama this one is Susaki Tanabe." He introduced himself with a bow "I wouldn't say I'm an expert or whatever but being Otter I am around them a lot." He had been about to say more when the play started.

He watched giving an amused chuckle here and there. Laughing out loud at some parts overall seeming pretty happy with it "Not bad! Plot got a little weird here and there but overall pretty good." He looked to Hajime "what did you think Kitsuki-sama?"
