If my character has to wear a blindfold otherwise she'll get her eyes scorched by THE SUN does she still qualify?

Aimi is a ronin shugenja, and is therefore both a valuable catch for just about any Clan outside of the Phoenix, and the sort of catch most samurai would be entirely happy to see someone else make on the Clan's behalf.
I'm sure she'll fit right in with this company of clan heirs and people who trace their ancestors back to the founding of the Empire.
