Hajime frowned. "Shosuro-sama, why don't you tell us what you know about this gaki?"

"It is or it isn't, but it's preying on my friend and if you won't help, I'll have to go ahead without you "

Hajime smiled. "Who said we're not helping?" He looked around. "Bravery and good intentions will not defeat a gaki, Shosuro-sama. Better that you wait a moment and gain perhaps four allies than charge ahead alone. One spirit may well know a great deal about another."

To Koi she answers, "So as to talk with cat-Renjiro?" She smiles, squeezing the child's shoulder, "I think maybe boy-Renjiro's got that covered?" Her eyes catch Murato's "Pretty sure he's using the kami to talk with the cat. Maybe we can see what a kid's doing running an inn later on, unless he knows anything about this dark thing preying on guests?" Squatting just a bit she asks. "Have you heard any whispers about something scary in the inn?"

He knew what was happening, it didn't matter.

He bowed to the Kitsuki. "When you're prepared, we'll be waiting should you decide to help."

[Kitsu Murato]

This felt wrong... not bad wrong... incorrect wrong. He should not be sensing the magic of kami. He had never heard their voices before. Something was off with him and he didn't know what it was.

He held out a pinky for a promise with the boy. "I'm brining snacks tomorrow, okay?"

Perhaps if he made physical contact he would be able to sense something different.

[Kaikoga Koi]

Koi felt annoyed. Miffed even.

She glanced at Yasu before shrugging. "Cat's see more, and sense more. They might be even able to offer aid if we ask nicely. Down to you though, dont feel like my help needed here."

She looked at Hikimasu. "I still think it ties to the painting."

[Kuni Yasu]

Yasu nods. "Snacks would be good. Maybe we'll catch cat-Renjiro a fish, hmm?" Tomorrow would be plenty of time for clearing that all up.

She nods at Koi, "Could be. Since I don't think cats are quite as scrupulous about not spying on samurai. Worth following up later in case there's maho in the mix, but I think that's better done with more time for the questions, while that one," she nods toward the Shosuro, "seems to have a more immediate line on where the evil Murato-san sensed is actually sitting."

[Kaikoga Koi]

"Shouldn't we report this to Lord Shika or Doji-sama?" She said plainly. "I mean, if there is evil?"

[Kitsuki Hajime]

"Most definitely. Why don't you send Shika-san, there? He'll know the quickest way."

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

"Agreed", the scorpion nodded to Koi. Maybe she could get rid of him that way.

[Kaikoga Koi]

Koi would look to Genkai.

"Which lord?" She asks she asks to the others.
