[D6 EM, Murato's room] Investigations to be done

[Kitsu Moshumaru]

It was a shame to part from the pillow fort.

It really was.

Still, there was work to be done.

Dressed and wide awake, Moshumaru rapped on the door of his cousin.

"Kitsu-san, Kitsu Moshumaru presents himself as discussed yesterday."

Murato slid the door open and let his cousin in. His kimono wasn't fully finished being adjusted, but he was taking care of that now.

"Good morning cousin," he says with a nod of greeting. "I hope you slept better than me."

The Kitsu bowed to his cousin.

"I slept, and I am now awake. Has Inari-san blessed you today, or should we get breakfast after this?"

Stepping inside, Moshumaru began immediately scanning the area for anything that might be out of place, or off. Despite his pre-amble, it was clear his emotions from yesterday were still running high.

"That would be good," he says. Compared to his depressed and generally dour mood the previous evening, he seems to be refreshed and appropriately stoic for a Lion.

Heard any whispers in the halls yet today? I'm just getting up so I haven't picked up anything yet.

"Not yet - as soon as I could untangle myself, I came forth."

Untangle himself from what, he didn't specify.

It was not an uncommon parlance for several things. The thing you usually have to untangle yourself from in the morning is not hard to figure out. But unlike some others, he is simply content to be happy for Moshumaru without needing to ask.

He nods at the response, then shrugs, finishing final adjustments on his kimono. He then starts folding up his sleeping mat and blanket.

"How are your prospects for the miai?" he asks.

Investigating some markings on the furniture, the Kitsu replied

"I like to think it's going well - I'm scoring highly, so I should have a decent choice. Go yesterday was not fun, but you know my opinions on Go."

That said, a lot of the unused emotion resurfaces and boils Moshu as he firstly damn near turns Murato's room inside out (before putting back again), then basically turns the inn's staff inside out (again, before putting them back again To find out about what stole from his cousin.

He was going to find out.

One could almost see the montage of Moshmaru questioning the guests and the staff of the inn. What struck him as the most interesting were rumors of Kaikoga Koi and Kitsu Murato being seen in various places together that did not line up with anywhere Murato had been certainly. And while Murato's clothes were nothing interesting to speak of, several people who had seen the pair together mentioned the beautiful kimono that Koi was wearing: the same kimono that had been stolen.

He conveyed the results of his investigation, weirdness and all, without hesitation.
