[D5LA] A gathering of seers (Special)

[Seppun Unsei]

The younger Seppun approaches his cousin and bows. “I hope Inari-kami has been kind, cousin.”

Then, he sits and produces chopsticks to fetch one of the mochi. He analyzes it, looks to Unsei, and then decides not to touch his chopsticks there, resting the utensils at his hand.

“Anno. I would need some help.”

"They have. I would hope they have for you as well?" They asked politely before arching a brow. "And what do you need help with?"

[Seppun Yuzu]

The younger Seppun approaches his cousin and bows. “I hope Inari-kami has been kind, cousin.”

“Which mochi is… peach?” He asks, raising an eyebrow and moving closer, to whisper, “Also. I need some priestly advice as, well, mundane things have potentially affected me.”

[Asahina Soyokaze]

Soyokaze bowed low when the Imperials each entered the room and kept his gaze on the floor throughout. " The weather is making it difficult for me to do my work. " He offered to no one in particular.

[Seppun Unsei]

“Which mochi is… peach?” He asks, raising an eyebrow and moving closer, to whisper, “Also. I need some priestly advice as, well, mundane things have potentially affected me.”

Priestly advice?

Oh.

That was technically a duty Unsei had to do, but one they had worked so hard to not do because their advice was terrible on the best of days.

"Ah haha, why don't you guess which one is?" The trick was that none of them were peach. Unsei left the good mochi in their sleeve and had only doled out the red bean. Then they leaned over and whispered back. "Ah, as you wish, cousin. Perhaps after we are done here so that we may speak in private?"

After that, they spoke up louder. "All good ideas and-" With a nod to Soyokaze "-it is something that is already beginning to affect us. If here we were to attempt to see how long this were to last, or any of the other options spoken here today-" They gave a nod to Mitsuki and a smaller one to Koi "-Then I would say that something good for all has come out of this meeting today, not to mention that I am sure our gracious hosts would appreciate it. After all, it is difficult to host a proper miai if everyone is swept away and I can't imagine anyone not wanting to be part of the miai here."

A lie. A big, fat, massive lie that last sentence was.

But, best to pay lip service.

[Agasha Inoshishi]

Inoshishi stumbles in, late as usual. She's covered in rain, carrying her refilled bag of mushrooms which look disturbingly fresh, and smiling ear to ear.

"Hi everyone, Wow, there's a lot of us here!"

Koi blinked as the Dragon stumbled in and felt herself grow brighter, she loved the Dragons as they were her clans closest neighbours and treated the Moth Clan pleasantly.

She watched the room, genuinely not really vibing the room at the moment as this is probably just another excuse to stroke the Imperials egos.

She sipped her tea, and wished she hadn't come. She just sat quietly, and watched with mild interest about the room.

[Kaito Oubaihime]

Oubahime looked at the Crane and asked him to sit next to her. "Crane sama... please sit here." It seemed that Koi was cranky and not in the mood to talk. "I hope Inari has blessed you today."

For now, Narumi sits back and watches the goings-on, reading lips and body language all the same. Were they really discussing changing the weather?
She took polite bites of her cake.

When that whole speech of helping out with the rain was met with pretty much crickets, Unsei felt a little part of themself die, but such was life.

"Moto-san there had the idea for it and she did most of the work writing them. I helped with about a quarter of them, but in exchange I had to ask the clan champion to let us host the party."
