Koi sipped her tea and nodded. "I see."

Oh for fuck sake, of course a fucking Scorpion showed up to a meeting and its the Seppun idea. Koi thought wishing her tea was sake, of course she can divine it was literally her clans business.

She closed her eyes for a moment and allowed her mind to calm down a portion. We are just tired, just ignore them.

[Kaito Oubaihime]

The Kaito arrived all wet. "My apologies but the water called."

[Seppun Unsei]

Unsei, for their troubles, had been sitting down at a table and practically glaring at the table. They couldn't understand why they were unhappy today, but it was apparent. Maybe it was the potential for a minor clanner to be talking shit about them in their head, but that was nothing more than a twinge in the air and Unsei could certainly not base feelings off of twinges that were potentially not even there.

"Apologies. Got caught up thinking."

And because their player was waiting until they got home to roll to enter, but then realized when they got home... they didn't have to roll.

They withdrew a few boxes of mochi from their sleeve and laid them out on the tables. "I hope everyone is doing well this late afternoon. It is quite a pour, isn't it..? Though, ah, yes. As Moto-san has said, this was mostly an exercise to see who here could divine to some degree. We were speaking one evening and concocted this little idea. We figured it would be a fun, private little event, and a way for us to all get to know each other and our different, or potentially same, methods of divination. Though, oh, a ritual would be very interesting indeed, Moto-san. Perhaps something to figure out if all of this rain is going to cause massive flooding soon?"

[Seppun Yuzu]

Yuzu takes the note in hand and clearly understand what it meant. As the time arrives, he heads into the gathering and watches, taking notes of everyone there. He is curious about who wrote that invitation

"Is such a rain abnormal here? We're not far from the sea, next to a lake, near another lake, and there are rivers around too."

From Mitsuki's point of view, the land around was already so stuff with water that she was surprised she didn't have to swim as soon as she left the house really.

Which would have been a problem as she didn't know how to swim.

From Mitsuki's point of view, the land around was already so stuff with water that she was surprised she didn't have to swim as soon as she left the house really.

"I'm unsure if it is or not, but if it does keep up then we are at a potential to flood or at least lose roads and become cut off as everything turns to mud. Even with a lake and river nearby to help with the runoff, it's still damaging and if the lakes and rivers swell, while it will be good for the crops, it tends to be bad for the people." They blinked and then chuckled. "At least from what I've heard from the Miya. They tend to know more about that stuff than I do personally."

"I'm unsure if it is or not, but if it does keep up then we are at a potential to flood or at least lose roads and become cut off as everything turns to mud. Even with a lake and river nearby to help with the runoff, it's still damaging and if the lakes and rivers swell, while it will be good for the crops, it tends to be bad for the people." They blinked and then chuckled. "At least from what I've heard from the Miya. They tend to know more about that stuff than I do personally."

"Too much rain is definitely not something I'm used to so I'll gratefully defer to your expertise here.

So establishing a precise forecast of the weather for the days to come? Of maybe a focus on divining the places that are at risk of being seriously damaged by the continuous rain, so they can be evacuated or strengthened before accidents happen? Both? A third option?"

[Kaikoga Koi]

Koi just sat quietly enjoying the tea and not being in the spotlight, she chewed inside of her cheek as something else knocks into her brain.

"Perhaps, with enough assistance we could persuade the Kami to move themselves elsewhere or to spot?" She suggested.

[Seppun Yuzu]

The younger Seppun approaches his cousin and bows. “I hope Inari-kami has been kind, cousin.”

Then, he sits and produces chopsticks to fetch one of the mochi. He analyzes it, looks to Unsei, and then decides not to touch his chopsticks there, resting the utensils at his hand.

“Anno. I would need some help.”

[Kaito Oubaihime]

"Perhaps, with enough assistance we could persuade the Kami to move themselves elsewhere or to spot?" She suggested.

The wet Kaito took a seat next to the Kaikoga. "Sorry..." She looked at her friend and nodded. "Or persuade them to disperse." Then she whispered "Long time no see."
