The rains resume as if the Heavens had needed just a day to refill the pitcher. Still, the rains are gentle rather than torrential, and the tree canopy continues to be rather soothing to listen to as the rain comes down. The high is 80F and the low is 65F. The moon phase is waning crescent.

Rumors:

"I really liked Susaki Tanabe and Kuni Yasu's shamisan and drum combination."
"Definitely a surpringing amount of skill from Yasu, but I expected a little more finesse from Tanabe."

Kitsu Murato and Shika Nesshin, were really great at the performance.
Can you imagine having the pair of them?
Together? That's....too much for me I fear.

Usogawa Emiko was also really amazing on the flute.
I know, right? Even paired up with that creepy Shosuro Hikimasu, she shines.
Woof, I hope the poor girl doesn't end up with him.

Suzume Seseki and Moto Mitsuki...that was unexpected.
I know right? One part yam and one part gaijin witch, how do those balance out so well?

Boy, I was not expecting that introduction from Kitsu Moshimaru.
I wonder if his partner was? He played along with it well enough if he wasn't.

I thought that Kaito Oubahime and Asahina Soyokaze would do better at the performance.
Maybe, but they're both so cute. I'm sure they'll be fine.

Did it seem to you like Matsu Ishioka and Agasha Inoshishi were singing two different songs?
I think they worked well enough together, but maybe they could've blended a little bit better.

Bayushi Minae and Ide Tomeo..well, it was a beautiful song.
Yeah but it was kind of sinister, I don't think I'd want to end up with either of them.

Kakita Reina and Mirumoto Haruhi's song was cute.
Yeah, but clearly one about friendship. Something a little more passionate might've done better.

Shiba Taemon does have a suprisingly nice singing voice.
Yeah, but Bayarmaa was clearly not really competent with that shamisen.

That song between Yasuki Jin and Kitsu Tsugumasa was super embasrassing.
Well, I don't think the Kitsu was expecting Jin's rather....lewd lyric.s
Usogawa Narumi was robbed!
Well, Asahina Bo is really very sweet, but he's in some trouble if he can't even keep beat on a drum.
Hey, drumming takes skill! Not everyone can keep the beat!

I really liked the song that Kaikoga Koi was singing.
Yeah, but Kasuga Yoshi really didn't contribute much.

Was it just me, or did Shiba Raizo seem kinda roninish, and Aimi seem kinda like she belonged to a Great clan?
Well, you have to be a pretty special ronin to get invited to a miai like this.
So what's Raizo's excuse?

I was REALLY expecting more from Moshi Shizuka.
Maybe she just didn't want to show up her partner.
That does seem like something she'd do,

I feel bad for Seppun Yuzu.
Yeah, he was clearly trying to be nice agreeing to partner with Utaku Kheree.
Oooh, speaking of her, did you see that new pattern on her kimono?

Oh my kami, Seppun Unsei and Bayushi Mitsu....why did nobody save them?
I've heard tale of a shugenja who once tied up the entire Imprial Court with a long-winded story...I think I would've rather heard that.
Would have been shorter, certainly.
