Alright. I was thinking you could have the necklace on the weekends, Friday-Sunday, and I'll have it the rest of the week.

What does Narumi REALLY think about Ino? (Figured I’d lead with the easy ones…)

WELL!~ She doesn't love her

At the end of the day, she thinks Ino is a bit selfish, a bit conceited, but also a scared girl who latched onto something good (Ishi) and fought tooth and nail to keep it. She finds that admirable, that sort of determination, and how Ino is so passionate and direct is something she envied. Mostly because she couldn't show at the miai until that last scene how similar they ended up being, rofl! Pesky lying on Narumi's side got in the way of them really becoming good friends, but now that that's out of the way, we can talk about how things go next time they see one another, with all their chips laid out on the table.

If a Kansen showed up and offered her power to make one change, and she accepted, what would it be?

What's one thing that you feel the game handled really well?

What's one thing (outside of dueling and strife) that you feels needs to be changed before the next game?

Also, why you hate plays so much? :D

Oh lawd. That's a good question. I mean, the obvious answer is "Fuck the blackmail, get rid of that shit."

Yknow what, I didn't mind the strife at all. And i can't speak to dueling as i was out the first round, so i ended up not having to understand anything!

And N didn't hate the plays! Just some hit really close to home.

So what is the blackmail? From an earlier glance at the thread, obviously financial in nature sorts of misdeeds, but I wasn't entirely clear.

And watching Narumi swerve between propriety, skulduggery, and drunken 'fuck it' abandon was definitely fun.

It's all spilling out now in a thread w Bo but! The reason for her blackmail: her uncle is a known smuggler/fence/thief/shady businessman with several illegal and nefarious ties, and she was closely following in his footsteps as a side hustle from her nakodo training. It was made abundantly clear to her that should she not work towards said blackmailer's agenda, her less-than-ideal familylife would come to light, denying her at a harmonious match. Her agenda was to garner support for the Deer to give military support to the Crane, as issued anonymously by Doji Oharu.

That agenda failed and the blackmail triggered.

A box of evidence and interviews was sent to Bo, damning Narumi and giving him everything he'd need to have her arrested for breaking Imperial law. There's also the issue of her guilty uncle, whose either facing death or exile, so she has to live with that. She'll be put on watch at the risk of Bo's honour should she continue her illegal actions, will be on house arrest on their izakaya (floating restaurant/inn), and demoted from continuing to be a nakodo.

I think that's it?

:( aww.

And yeah, some apologies for not helping out in her last days effort to push that agenda, largely due to fading activity.
