Staking Honor and Glory

Starting on Day 1, you may stake honor and Glory on the next day's events. In essence you are pledging to yourself (Honor) or to others (Glory) of your success on the events of next day. You may stake up to three glory and/or three honor on your performance in the next day's events. Stakes must be made before dayflip in your private forum To succeed at the honor stake, you must not fail any of the rolls in the event. To succeed at the glory stake, you must place in the top tier.

Further staking of honor and glory on other things you wish to swear to doing may be approved at GM discretion. Simply put the request in your private forum.

Example:

On Day 1, Doji Tofu's player decides that 'Kitteh can do anything!' and stakes three honor and three glory on the event scheduled for day 2. When Doji Tofu competes in the day 2 event, sakkaku gives him a big load of nothing causing him to fail rolls and not place in the top tier. Doji Tofu loses 3 honor and 3 glory. Doji Tofu's player decides that this means on Day 2 they better stake again for Day 3's events to make it up.....

Meanwhile, Akodo Tempura player on Day 1 decides to stake 1 honor their performance in the Day 2 event. In the Day 2 event, Tempura dominates every roll and easily places into the top tier without failing a roll. They gain 1 honor for having staked 1 honor, but they gain no glory because they did not stake any glory.

Staking honor on events:

Honor bet on passing all the rolls in an event is now bet during the first roll of the event. The bet must be put into the roll description to be valid.
