Kyuden Shika

Once she is somewhat secure he hands the umbrella up to free up his hands and then uses them to help keep her in place as he, very carefully, makes his way through the forest ensuring she does not hit any branches. Though she could almost certainly reach out to them given her new vantage point.

The umbrella is tucked under one arm swiftly and she shrieks again, laughing as he begins to walk. With him holding her so, she has no fear that he'll drop her.
It's not long before they both can hear the rush of the moving waters, and less time before the forest clears to the riverbed.

"Success!" He laughs with her then pauses, "Uhhhh... so what do we do now that we're here?"

"Well, first you can put me down," she grinned from her very high vantage point. "And then? Well. I hadn't thought that far, honestly."

"Oh... uh... right." His sheepish smile wasn't visible to her until he had once more carefully lifted her and lowered her to the ground.

She stole another kiss on the way back down to the ground again, before handing him the umbrella. "Wow," her heart was racing and she put a hand to her chest to settle it as she took in the sight of the river with wide eyes.

Bo once more holds the umbrella to mostly cover Narumi as they look out at the river.

"Yeah, it's real nice."

"Isn't it peaceful?" she asks softly. "This is where I'm happiest, when the river is quiet, where I find a secluded space that's just mine. Where there's no expectation, no demands, no masks that need to be worn to keep face. It's simple. The river doesn't ask you to be what you're not. It's tranquil and simple. It just is."

Bo listens and nods, hearing the words and, of course, drawing the wrong conclusion, "Oh... uh... did... did you want me ta go then?"

A look is cast way, way up at him and she scowls before smirking, "No! I'm happy to share it with you. It means a lot to me."
