"I'd like that a lot... but I'd still go too if you wanted...." Some things were worth facing discomfort, after all.

Her expression softened considerably, and in a flash she threw her arms around the mountain. "Why don't we have an early dinner tomorrow then, and see where we go from there?" Her voice was somewhat muffled before she looked way, way up to judge his reaction.

Bo, very carefully and gently, returned the hug and smiled down at Narumi, "Yeah, that sounds great."

"Good," she said, somewhat tempered. "I don't want you to do anything you don't want to. In fact, that's the last thing I want. Your feelings are important to me, Bo-san. I don't want to put you anywhere you don't want to be."
She lifted up on her tiptoes and reached up to pull him towards her for a kiss.

Although Bo does lean in a little he finds it just as easy to lift the slight Otter up to meet his lips as he descends.

After they part, and he lowers her back down, he smiles again "Anywhere with you is a good place ta be. Even if it's not somethin' I'd do otherwise."

When her feet find the ground under them again, she smiles happily and easily up at him, before motioning with a tick of her head for them to continue on their way.
"It shouldn't be too much farther to the river... I wasn't, um, paying attention to how I got there? But I remember how I got back."

Bo misses the implication that she might have been lost earlier and just nods, "Ummm, well we could get you a better view... if you're ok with it?"

".... What?" she can't help but laugh, and nods. Intrigued to see what he means.

He, almost belatedly, thinks to make sure there are no immediately overhanging branches before he once more lifts the Otter. This time hefting her all the way up until she is sitting on his shoulders.

"There, should be easier ta see from up there."

Shrieking with laughter as he lifts her up again higher than before and keeps going, she clings to his hands tightly for balance.
".... Hai, it's not far at all!"
