(D10 MA, Expecting) Rolling in the Mud

[Kaito Oubaihime]

When she just looked at him, he smiled back for a long moment, eye to eye.

"I'm glad I can still get a blush from you. Was worried I might be getting too predictable."

Put his head against hers, cheek to cheek, and whispered in her ear. "I love you Bai."

She still was in shock with his words. The Kaito blinked a few time again and was at a loss for words. The priestess finally reacted by whispering "I love you too Mura kun."

[Kitsu Murato]

He smiled to himself as he stayed there for a bit. He left it to Bai to take the lead next, content to just be close with her for the moment.

[Agasha Inoshishi]

Pushing past the strange feeling, the Lion crouches slightly, growls, and rushes to attack. He aims to lift the little Dragon onto his shoulders this time, if he can manage the maneuver.

Inoshishi starts, her stance nowhere near as good as she hoped. She tries to push off but can’t get a grip, instead trying to dodge and roll away, thankfully away from the river. If he manages to get a hold of her anyway, she tries to reach and grab his wrist to stay lodged on his arm.

"Bakka..." She nuzzled onto his chest.

[Matsu Ishioka]

Pushing past the strange feeling, the Lion crouches slightly, growls, and rushes to attack. He aims to lift the little Dragon onto his shoulders this time, if he can manage the maneuver.

Inoshishi starts, her stance nowhere near as good as she hoped. She tries to push off but can’t get a grip, instead trying to dodge and roll away, thankfully away from the river. If he manages to get a hold of her anyway, she tries to reach and grab his wrist to stay lodged on his arm.

When Ishioka sees her wobble as she tries to push off he thinks he has Inoshishi perfectly, but her quick duck to roll away completely upsets his plan.

His own skid in the sandy mud as he tries to set his feet only makes things worse.

The result is the Agasha diving into a roll very close to the same spot where the Matsu is losing all altitude and flopping toward the ground. Inoshishi manages part of her roll successfully before the left half of Ishioka's body crashes down on her, his face hitting the mud but his left arm catching her and preventing her escape.

[Kitsu Murato]

"Bakka..." She nuzzled onto his chest.

"I am," he replied, holding her close, one hand wrapped around her, beginning to rub her back again.

He also finishes off the taiyaki they had shared a bite of, while watching the match progress.

[Kaito Oubaihime]

She looked at the Kitsu to warn him about what she is about to do. "Nee chan, Show him the Drunken Dragon technique!"

[Kitsu Murato]

"Yeah! I wanna see this technique!" He agrees aloud just after her.

[Agasha Inoshishi]

The result is the Agasha diving into a roll very close to the same spot where the Matsu is losing all altitude and flopping toward the ground. Inoshishi manages part of her roll successfully before the left half of Ishioka's body crashes down on her, his face hitting the mud but his left arm catching her and preventing her escape.

Ow. that's a lot of Matsu on my ribs. Okay girl, you can do it, while he's stunned. Like that Ox that one time in...

With the creative energy she's displayed many times before, she tries to lean into that arm, giving her free reign to try to kick her body around, ideally get her leg up and over the Matsu, see if she can't work her way up him while he gets the mud out of her face. A nasty part of her brain suggests driving his face deeper, but this isn't war, it's a weird sort of mud-covered love...fight...thing. So nope, no suffocating the beloved. Yet.

Either way, and perhaps especially if she doesn't succeed, she's going to be covered in mud, turning her already wet and clingy robes to effectively afterthoughts. Which is probably why guys like mud wrestling anyway. It certainly isn't the color. Except for a very guys.

Ishioka was a step behind Inoshishi in recovering, and was fortunate his arm had held her as long as it did. But the scrappy Dragon was already slipping out from under his arm, so the Lion had to let her go and concentrate on getting back on his feet himself. As she seemed to pull away from him with a spin, Ishioka focuses his energy to push himself up from the muddy ground. His footing holds, and he's quickly looking down on Inoshishi again, but not ready for her next move.
