As the Sparrow looked at his hat, then at the plants around, then back at his hat, he hears the nearby song, in a voice he thought he maybe recognised...

"Kaito-sama... can you hear it too?

He tried to ascertain where it came from, then nodded at the girl, as if suggesting they follow the voice.

(OOC: I'll just assume Senseki gathered some moist straw from the ground and is making a hat with it as he and Bai try to find the source of the song, then I'll wait for her answer before we approach though!)

The Suzume observed with a smile as the Kaito sang, weaving the wicker as he waited for her to finish. When she does, he nods again, in thanks, then nods towards where the other song comes from, as if suggesting they go towards it.

The Kaito finished her ritual and started to walk on the direction of where she sensed the spirit that is probably the same direction of the song.

Guided both by the Kaito's spiritual guidance and the Sparrow's ear for music, they came across the small boy with the wide straw hat playing in the rain.

The shrine maiden smiled as she made harmonies with the boy's tune trying her best not to scare the little boy. Bai sat in the mud just to not appear scary to the boy.

Meanwhile, the Sparrow stopped and listened silently to their shared song, a widening smile clearly indicating he was enjoying it. He would greet the boy calmly and happily when they were done, but he wouldn't want to interrupt that moment.

It was a rather beautiful song with the addition of the Kaito, singing about the joys of rain, a song not unfamiliar to one who served at the Water Dragon Temple.

When it came to an end, Ame-kun smiled at the pair.

"Oh, hi Suzume-sama, Phoenix-sama. Great day to be out huh?" he said happily.
