"Right, well...i was hoping to not involve too many people", he thought about it a little more. "Spiritual issues at a miai make people talk, but i also realize this is a serious matter. Would blessing a weapon give me a chance if I fought it?"

A small shrug.

"It couldn't hurt your chances, Shosuro-san, but I could not attest to it's efficiency. I've never personally fought a gaki." he admitted.

"Is there anything else? At all?" he seemed a little strained on the matter, looking for some sort of option he could make use of, someway of helping Utaku-san.

A small shrug from the Kitsu.

You could report it to the Emerald Magistrate or the castellan." he offered. "I think that pretty much outlines your otpions, Shosuro-san. I could bless your sword, and we could hang up charms and wards and hope they hold, we could try the ritual, or you hand the matter off to those of higher authority than we two."

He grumbled. "Let me try my way first. If it doesn't look good we'll get help and try your ritual. I might be able to get enough people who can be discreet."

He let out a breath. "Will you do this?"

[Kitsu Tsugumasa]

Tsugumasa nodded without hesitation.

"I will." he said, without questioning to whose benefit this was. Someone was in need, he had a duty to help.

"Then I'll try to arrange something", he told the Kitsu. "We'll have to be quick. I honestly don't know how it's getting to them, but I'm near positive it's when they're sleeping."

The Kitsu nodded.

"It very well may be. It also may be invisible or even intangible." he admitted. "There is very little physical measures can do in many of these cases."

"Well, four others and myself." he offered."They should be spiritual inclined if not actually shugenja, and strong in different elemental affinities would be the ideal."
