[Kaikoga Fujiko]

Fujiko's eyes became calculating at Koi's last comment. The young man was handsome enough and of high station, but he seemed pretty cold and Koi didn't seem to like him. Those last two concerns were secondary, however, to the fact that he was perhaps of too high station, meaning she'd marry into his clan instead of the opposite. With her father aging and her declining health, this wasn't ideal.

Still, it wasn't a reason to be rude.

"It's an honor meeting you, Seppun-sama," Fujiko bowed deeply, a faint blush on her cheeks after Koi's compliments.

[Seppun Yuzu]

The giggling does make an eyebrow twitch, but just slightly. Fujiko's cheeks blushing, though, makes his left eye narrow for another moment. These displays of emotions right in the first hours of the day, under rain, wasn't all compatible to the environment.

"Likewise." He replies, stoically, as the rain thickens.

Then, he fetches a couple of onigiri from his sleeve pocket and unwraps the bundle to show part of the content while offering.

Koi watched the Imperial with a flat expression, no more fun now, no more happiness. What is the point of existing a life when you have to bottle up yourself? What does it serve that you are the biggest, stiffest little shit at 14 years old just because you are pushed from some random woman's womb with a gilded spoon shoved up your arse. Life is filled with colour, enjoyment, pleasures and if the world wanted you to be a rock the Earth kami would have shat you out into the dust when you were imagined into the world. It served no purpose, and it proved that you were nothing more than a sheep.

BAAAH Koi thought, her face deadpanning for perhaps the first time in a long time (at least for Fujiko's experience) an expression she only saved for moments around her own Mother.

You got to see my tits. You got kisses on the forehead by a women twice your age. You should be enjoying that life and here you are standing in the rain, alone playing with a pseudo penis because at the end of it all you are a child acting like an adult in a world that does not give a flying fuck about you. Koi stiffed even as she felt her hand shake.

"You are very dedicated to the pursuit to your skill, and the water kami seem to be blessing your hard work." Koi said politely, I hope you fall and drown in a puddle. She thought to herself. "Thank you." She accepted a rice ball, and bowed her head respectfully before enjoying it if only to shut up and stew allowing her cousin to perhaps salvage this conversation.

Fujiko gracefully accepted the offered Onigiri, taking advantage of the delay it gave her before needing to say anything. While it would not look so for someone unfamiliar with her, it was clear to her eyes that Koi was about a breath away from strangling the boy. As for the boy himself, well, it was clear to her eyes that nothing. She had no idea what he was thinking, except for a general dourness.

Now, a diplomat or master manipulator could have easily found which strings to pull and which levers to push to salvage the situation. Sadly for her, Fujiko was neither of those things. The only choice was to either try to salvage the situation, or remove her cousin and herself from it before it got worse.

"Thank you for the rice. It, uh... looks like you want to train in peace, so we should maybe leave you to it?"

For Fujiko, there was only ever one choice, was there?

"I hope to see you again at a better time, when you are free."

[Seppun Yuzu]

A positive thought of both leaving him alone passes through his mind. Internally –– and most important: subconsciously –– the attention gained was actually welcomed. Yuzu, though, sour as he is for the good things the Fortunes grant him, wound't notice the value so early in his life. After all, he was trained since a child to be what he is: a relentless Guardian to a God!

Wait... he's not a guardian...

Well, since he's a Governor now, his training might botch here or there. But it wasn't today. He replies, "I am happy that you accepted, and hope you enjoy."

His eyes drift to Fujiko, and he adds quite bluntly, "Shitsurei shimassu. Kaikoga-san is not on my list. I guess that's since she was late to arrive."

Another bow, and he returns to his place, assuming his stance. Cold.
