Yuzu cocks his head back, “A reborn soul?” His eyebrows burrow. “What I see is a blatant lie. Either Kaito-san is under the influence of some spiritual trickster, or she’s just out of her mind. He inhales deeply and says with an extended hand, “Now, pass me that mirror, please.”

She offers the mirror to the Seppun. "Please be careful." The Kaito shook her head. "This one is not trying to lie to you. Look at who you are?"

Yuzu produces a piece of cloth not to touch the mirror directly, and fetches it from Bai's hand gently. He has no intention to look at the cursed thing. "Thank you, Kaito-san. Now, if she's so kind, I would like my cousin to analyze this item."

"I would like it returned as soon as possible." The Kaito glared at the Seppun. "If something happens to that mirror you will feel the wrath of the Water Dragon." The woman was serious her threat was not an empty one.

Yuzu is actually surprised by the threat. Well, again, he thinks Oubaihime is under a spell, so, she shouldn’t be completely into her own mind right now.

He raises an eyebrow and grunts, “We’ll see. I won’t let this item trouble Kaito-san.”

"I'll give you until the end of this miai to examine it. Please return it by then, Seppun san." She gave him a bow.

The Seppun provides a much shorter bow back, “That should be enough time. Kaito-san should eat the rest of the onigiri. I’ll resume training if she’s ok.”

"I thank you for the blessing Seppun san." She finished her onigiri. "Allow this one to give you an advice. There sins in every samurai heart... if you allow one to seep its roots the heart becomes compromised. No matter what it the person shows the heart will still be corrupted.
