It was...quite the sight the Scorpion walked in on. A Dragon and a Lion seemed to be manhandling the innkeeper, who seemed very angry, hissing and biting, and trying to claw.

Meanwhile, Kuni Yasu was holding....someone wrapped up in a blanket from the now kicked over table.

"Hey! Lemme go! Help!" came the high panicked voice from the blanket.

Given Yasu's background the thing in the blanket was roughly child-sized, about as squirmy as a child, and about as strong.

[Kitsu Murato]

Not immediately recognizing the Shosuro's presence as he wanted to sort through the immediate mess, he also didn't keep his voice quiet so he could listen in if he wished. "It's not the evil, no."

He passed the cat to Hajime before moving to the blanket. He carefully opened it so that he could look inside, "I don't wish to hurt you. I'm looking for something dangerous in the Inn. I want to make your home safer little one. You're lucky to be getting a hug from such a beautiful woman. I'm jealous. What do I call you?"

His orange eyes took in whatever it was.

[Kaikoga Koi]

Koi entered the Inn with her shadow behind her, the lanky Shika guard before she catches herself surprised by the situation.

"What is the meaning of this?" Koi called, and looked to Genkai. "You might want to get in here, Genkai-san."

A rather tall, potbelly asian version of Steve Buscemi comes rushing into the room wearing Shika gear upon being called by Koi who so far has entirely ignored his existence.

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

Hikimasu grumbled. "Is this... no, nevermind. Please treat Renjito-sama with more respect, also what is this nonsense?:

[Kuni Yasu]

Goblins are child-sized as well, but tend to be stronger..and also evil...so Yasu lowered the bundle as Murato moved to open it, using her own experience with many small children.

"Calm down a bit, nobody here's planning to hurt you. You've been very clever hiding all this while."

She too was a bit focused on the immediate activity to notice those entering the room, beyond an automatic assessment of threat or not threat.

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

"..."

He stepped forward. Keeping Koi behind him. "What do you have there? Explain quickly."

His hand even edged toward his blade.

Shifting the blanket a bit while the Kuni held onto it so Murato was speaking to a head, rather than say a foot revealed.....

A young male child, somewhat sweaty from being wrapped up and held in a blanket.

They looked....quite alarmed...possibly because a giant Kuni was holding them.

The Lion's easy way of talking and the Crab's assurances did help somewhat at least.

"renjiro" came the quiet reply as they tried to look away from everyone.

Interestingly enough, Renjiro also calmed down, stopping his furious assault on the Dragon's forearms. He didn't look happy that he was still being held, but the immediate anger had passed.

[Kuni Yasu]

"Just like the cat, hmm?" The Kuni smiles, though the bright red paint on stark white makes that a bit less reassuring than it might be as she glances to the Kitsu's golden eyes. "Want to stay and talk if I get you unwrapped from this?" she asks conversationally, confident that the room full of people is enough to stop one small child/spirit/whathaveyou.

"..."

He stepped forward. Keeping Koi behind him. "What do you have there? Explain quickly."

His hand even edged toward his blade.

Yasu glanced back at the Scorpion. "A child, or something like. And so far not a dangerous one." She frowns slightly, though it's far more at the dead eyes than at the cautious hand on a blade.

[Kitsu Murato]

"That's a good name," he says with a smile to Renjiro the not-cat. "You are connected to this one, aren't you?" he asks pointing to Renjiro the cat.

"You were the one that helped Kaikoga-san, Shika-san and myself a week ago weren't you?" he asks with a smile. "Thank you for that."

[Kaikoga Koi]

Koi stood behind Hikimasu hidden from sight she placed her finger in her hand and drew a circle using the moisture of water from her wet clothing she was wearing.

Focusing on the child she looked at him curiously, and perhaps the water kami would clear up the situation a little bit.
