[Kitsuki Hajime]

Hajime rose to his feet and loaned his hand to the Lion.

"Murato-sama, what do we know of the enemy?"

[Kitsu Murato]

His senses almost fully returned now he accepted the hand up. He glanced at his fingertips still recalling touching Yasu's face and seeing a bit of white paint.

"Apologies for that Yasu-san," for revealing the fact that he had obviously dreamt about her. It was a bit embarrassing and he had a slight flush. "I didn't mean to make either of you worry."

"It's something. Not sure what. It's not my first time running in to a situation like this though," he replied, getting ready to move.

[Kuni Yasu]

Yasu nods a quick thank you for the cloth, using to finish cleaning up the blood before using it first to dampen Murato's forehead, and then the back of his neck as he's waking, a small shake of her head at his disorientation, though she doesn't push his hand away.

"Passed out, more like, and tried knocking the floor with your head..." She's not really sure he heard her as he starts up, remembering the inn.

She sits back as Hajime offers a hand up, immediately scooping her paraphernalia back into the scroll case, in considerably a considerably less orderly fashion than it had left. "Still nothing to apologize for, Murato-san," she says as she stands, already looping the scroll case back into its place.

"Could you tell if it had just shown up, or has been there a while?" Meanwhile, she's ticking through every possible hint noticed during her time in the inn.

"All I know is something is there right now," he says.

[Kitsuki Hajime]

Hajime nodded firmly. "Then we should alert Shika Renjiro and make our way there." He looked down at his sword. Hopefully it would suffice.

[Kuni Yasu]

Yasu nods, adjusting scrolls by feel before tightening the cap on the case and heading into the rain.

Nothing like a run through down in the dark and mud to cap off an evening! Yasu skips the removing sandals part in her hurry to find whatever menaced the inn's guests, tracking mud straight in.

Remembering how he lost his sandals previously, he takes his off and runs alongside Yasu with them in hand

Hajime followed, slipping off his sandals as well so that he can do his best to keep up with the Kuni's stride. A small frown was forming. How do I fight a spirit? He wished he had his staff. The wakizashi might be too close-up. Maybe I should break a chair on it?

[Renjiro]

The good news was the there was not a giant oni rampaging through the inn. It was fairly quiet, with many having not yet returned from their various evening hookups. Of course, the lack of overt evil did make it harder to locate.

Renjiro looked up from his blanket-covered table curiously at the three hasty samurai.

Hajime's player was immediately suspicious of the cat, and might have advocated for killing it, had not he known the honored position cats occupy in the affections of a wide section of the playerbase. Instead, he turned to Murato, raising an eyebrow in question.
