(D6, EN) Raining Under The Roof

Alone. Yuzu takes a moment to write down his feelings as his face gets all wet from the water dripping under the pagoda. Salty water. Would that be enough to cleanse him –– or would he need to burn even more?
He writes down, and takes steps forward with the piece of paper in his hand. Then, he tries to get his knife with some ridiculously stupid idea in his mind. Like, stabbing the poem at the tree.
The boy trips on his steps, and falls prone. His dagger, lost. The note wrinkled at the foot of the tree.
He hiccups, drunk as a skunk and tries to lift himself up.
The poem says:

The poem says:
Rooted in this soul
Grows fruits of serenity
Lies won't hurt for long
