Soyokaze entered the temple with a bow, a look of annoyance written on his face. Kneeling before the shrine he struggled to find his calm, preventing him from offering proper devotion.

"Good morning Crane sama." The Kaito welcomed the Crane to the temple grounds. "I hope Inari blessed you today."

Soyokaze looked once more at the central shrine and sighed.

"How is your Miai going Oubaihime-sama? I feel like I have done nothing to help myself here since I arrived."

"That is good to hear, you are a fine and devoted samurai Kaito Oubaihime-sama and you deserve to find success in marriage."

Soyokaze's words were genuine yet he tone was hollow, haunted.

"Out of curiosity, have you given much thought to the prospects of having to leave your clan and home? It is the one thing that no one seems to be talking about here, half of us will likely be leaving our homes."

"I have... and I don't mind who will this one. As long as I can keep a shrine to my home and to the fortunes I think I will be fine." She tilted her head puzzled. "Do you think that it will bother you? Having a new household and a new clan?"

"It will be difficult to think of myself as something other than an Asahina but that is something i am sure time will remedy. As for leaving my home......I find the prospect of seeing more of the empire inviting. it will be like a whole new life." Soyokaze looked very wistful at that last thought.

"That sounds like fun... a change of scenery like for me right now... This temple is quite different from the Water Dragon one..." She looked at the Cherry Tree and smiled. "Such nice view... This is the southest point I have visited... I would like to visit your homeland. I know that right now it is in distress but the fortunes and the Kami will bless your lands again."
