[Kaito Oubaihime]

She blinked a few times. "I am but a humble monk... I doubt that I would be spoiled, Shosuro sama." She nodded. "I am a healer, not just of wounds from the physical but spiritual and the heart as well. I hope that if you need a friend you can come to this one and mend what you wish to mend." She gave a respectful bow.

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

"If it comes to that, usually I talk to my horse. Though I'm thinking Renjiro-sama might be a good listener as well."

[Kaito Oubaihime]

"I understand... some people prefer their close ones to confide..." She started to sweep some leaves that were recently blown to her side. "And having an affinity of those from Chikuchudo might be well... interesting to see."

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

Well it's not like I really talk to them, they might understand but that's... why am I actually thinking about that?

"Do you keep pets, Kaito-sama?"

[Kaito Oubaihime]

"I don't have a pet but the temple has a few cats." She continued sweeping the leaves. "I sometimes feed them and when I feel alone I tend to give them pets." The Kaito smiled at the memory of petting the cat in the temple.

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

"That sounds like you have pets", he said.

[Kaito Oubaihime]

"The cat are not exclusive to this one." She explained. "I do not have to ask someone to care for them while I am out...or travel with them." She stopped sweeping and looked at the Scorpion. "I still consider them my friends even if they are not ningen."

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

Hikimasu wondered why everyone was so interested in splitting hairs, even more than he is.

"Well, that is rather commendable and I'm sure the creature misses you", he said finally.

[Kaito Oubaihime]

Oubaihime smiled. "I hope so." She giggled. "This may sound odd.... but Shosuro sama are you looking for a particular type of partner in this miai?"

[Shosuro Hikimasu]

"It isn't odd to ask, considering", he said, still admiring the cherry tree. "There will be a great variety here, I think. It isn't for me really to turn my nose up when life is, for once, seeming to give me so many choices." He folded his arms, thoughtfully putting his thumb to his chin. "I'd have to say someone sweet, confident enough to have their own view on matters, willing to fight me when I'm wrong."
