[Shika Nesshin]

Nesshin gives the location of his room, adding "The later evening would be best, I think.

"And as to other things than nature tours...you've the right of it. Really, anytime I can see people be...moved...by what the world offers, it's a good one. Never does get old, truly."

His mouth quirks wryly before softening somewhat into a gentler smile. "But what do you see when you look into the stars? Other than the threats, I mean; isn't there more in them? I've been told as much, anyway, even if I can't ever make anything out from them."

[Seppun Unsei]

They pondered for a moment, having the oddest sense of premonition.

"I... don't know why, but I think I'm actually busy during that time. I don't think I've read anything about it in the stars, but... I feel like I'm already doing something then." They furrowed their brows and sat down on a nearby bench, trying to cope with what was going on because they certainly were not about to make plans and then ditch them to drink sake.

"Sorry. Perhaps tomorrow then?" They rubbed their forehead. "Oh, though the stars. Yes. They show me much more than just threats. Glimpses of the future. Of Things to come and occasionally things that will happen regardless that cannot be changed."

[Shika Nesshin]

"Tomorrow'd be lovely," Nesshin replies. "And I'll trust an astrologer to have an inkling of the future, eh?" He quirks a grin again.

You miss every shot you don't take, of course. But sometimes, you shoot and still miss. Such is life.

"Anything in particular stand out that you've foreseen?"

[Seppun Unsei]

"Hah! Something like that, I suppose, yes. My grandmother... Kami above she saw omens in everything. Poor woman couldn't walk down a hall without seeing something about how her future was going to be. Made it more than difficult to give her a present as a surprise. She always knew what was it in regardless of anything! Also made her really annoying because she would already know what you were going to ask before you asked it, so when someone would walk in, she'd answer the question, but you'd still have to ask it anyway."

This shot was going to make it, even if Unsei had to break down the doors of the Kyuden to get some.

"Recently or in general?"

[Shika Nesshin]

"Both, and in order, if you would," Nesshin replies. "As I said, I'm curious about that kind of thing, having nothing resembling facility with it, myself." Much to my parents' disappointment, he muses. But there'll be ways around it.

[Seppun Unsei]

"Well, recently I saw that my parents were going to ship me off here at the request of the Otomo matchmaker they had gotten to find a spouse for me. They already had several other requests and didn't want to deal with mine. Lo and behold here I am. Before that, I knew what the matchmaker was going to say before they even sent the request, but I didn't tell them because I wanted to waste more time before I had to get married. I'm sure they knew it as well, but wanted to see anyway."

They shrugged.

"In general though, I don't see too much unless I try to look for it. What about you though. Any stories or something? Anything specific that you're curious on that you want to ask about?"

"Idle curiosity again," Nesshin says. "Why the tassels?"

"I like them. Plus they help weigh down my hat so it doesn't go flying away on a windy day."

[Shika Nesshin]

Nesshin smiles tightly, trying not to laugh aloud, really, at the image of the tasseled hat sailing away.

"Has that," he coughs slightly, "been an issue?"

[Seppun Unsei]

"We've had some really windy days that I did not foresee in the stars. Not that it would've mattered. I wear my hat everywhere. I like my hat. It doesn't stay home." They said solemnly.
