[Asahina Soyokaze]

"If it is then Seppun-sama will know to watch his back because someone has it out for him."

[Seppun Yuzu]

Yuzu tilts his head, and smirks, "That was a jest, Asahina-san. My apologies. I thought it would be fun. It is not poisoned at all."

After a deep breath, he adds, "So someone is out for me... like a threat?"

[Asahina Soyokaze]

"My retort was in jest as well -sama." he said before finishing the treat, he was clearly hungrier than he thought. "Thank you very much for that but please, I am eager to see if the blade meets with your satisfaction." he gestured to the bundle before the young lord.

[Seppun Yuzu]

"Ah! Good one. Asahina-san caught me in my own joke." He nods and looks to the bundle. "Blade?" He clears his throat and cocks his head back in curiosity. "Before Asahina-san begins, please, allow me the courtesy to remind that one should only receive blades as gifts from one's Lord. Doing otherwise would be a grave offense."

[Asahina Soyokaze]

The Crane looked confused. "This is no gift lord, I am returning this to you after having repaired it. Unless...perhaps I was wrong and this is Unsei-sama's? I awoke this morning to a delivery at my door. It was a bundle and inside was a broken tanto with the Imperial crest on it. Attached was this note." he reached into his kimono again and retrieved a note offering it to the Seppun.

a folded piece of thick white paper. Inside the writing in black ink says:
Wind rekindled flames
Heat that shapes metal true form
Molt to fly further
The paper scents of ginger and lemon.

"If it is not your blade then I apologize for the mistake but i ask you not touch it as it has been sanctified...though it was sanctified for you so I am not sure about what to do now."

[Seppun Yuzu]

Yuzu grins. "How odd, my blade was broken at this very place the other day and now Asahina-san has it fixed."

There's a deep bow of appreciation from the Seppun, "Thank you for repairing it whole."

He keeps bowed until Soyokaze replies.

[Asahina Soyokaze]

Soyokaze returned the bow. "Wait, then you did not send it? Was this stolen from you Seppun-sama? I would not want you to think I was party to it if it was." The look on his face was anger or nerves it was wariness that played on his features as he wondered who could have been behind it.


You know exactly who it was you fool, she's more clever than we ever thought.

[Seppun Yuzu]

"Oh, This wasn't stolen no. I was lost once, and then it broke afterwards," He says, knowing all too well it Yuzu himself that sent it. Yet, he doesn't say out loud. It would ruin the game of letters traditions, after all.

[Asahina Soyokaze]

"Well then please, I wish to see if you approve." he gestured again to the bundle.

[Seppun Yuzu]

"I would be honored to see it." Yuzu nods.
