After bowing into the ring as befits, Nesshin makes to size up his opponent as an opponent, but he fails to do so, finding himself flat on his back without really understanding how. But a grin spreads across his face as he resumes his feet and adopts a deep, wide stance--and this time, it is his opponent who finds herself on her back.
The two seem to be of one mind as they rush forward together, neither gaining the upper hand for a few moments until Nesshin pivots to the side, raising his foot just enough to catch hers as she tries to step forward, and down she goes. And when they make a final pass against one another, somehow, Nesshin's hand surges up towards his opponent's face, and she turns up, up, up, until there is no more up for her, and it becomes down abruptly.
He bows to her, and his face suddenly grows solemn as he leaves his bout.
Koi has spent as much time as she could mentally preparing herself including a full montage of doing push-ups, stretching, slapping her cheek to motivate herself all the while her cut in her belly lightly prodded her to remind her that she was still wounded.
No matter! She thought, taking several deep breathes before she headed towards the dojo with her shadow having to keep up with Koi as to warm up lightly jogs to the dojo. Koi was not wearing make-up, but was dressed for business without the foundation the stark difference of her vitiligo and her natural skin was surprisingly different making her almost appear supernaturally touched.
Moving through the crowd Koi offered a prayer to just about any Fortune she could to give her the fortitude to withstand this. Meeting Nesshin in the circled rope, Koi fully in the mind of a Sumo.
I am SUMO! She thought, stamping her feet in perhaps the most adorable way possible but perhaps that was what caught Nesshin off guard moving quickly into his personal space and swiftly (and to Koi's pained amazement) tossed Nesshin out of the ring.
Her side screamed at her for the next round punishing her and before she even realised Koi was slammed onto her back, stars exploding across her vision as she dragged herself back to her feet. All the while selling the bout, making the crowd chuckle at the little Moth Shugenja against one of their very own!
Koi didn't remember the next two bouts well, her body was screaming at her the pain near throbbing as she felt her vision filled with black spots as she noticeably began to place her hand on her stomach before she knew it Koi was laying on her slammed out of the ring, breath knocked from her lungs and eventually finding herself unable to breath. Her lungs begin to throb as she struggle to catch the wind, her hands began to tremble as she tried, tried so hard not to lose control as the pain was so much. It took Koi perhaps a near minute before she was able to stand from the last throw, her hand visibly shaking as she bowed to Nesshin and left the stage thinking. "
