Another event and once more, the supposedly salacious Centipede left her partner to the whims of fate: whatever Lady Amaterasu would will, she would abide by.

There were just some fates that were unavoidable. The Mantis had come for the Centipede, and a thousand fans cried out in pain.

Shizuka's match is against Hiroto of the Golden Mirror!

Hiroto's choice of order: Void, Earth, Water, Air, Fire

Hiroto bowed to the Moshi. They hadn't met, but it was a sun priestess. How hard could this be?

He started the match feeling out his opponent before striking.

Round 1: Void

Two successes, Opportunity used to cancel strife.

Shizuka returned the bow. Indeed, how hard could it be?

Not that hard, as would quickly become evident. Relying on instinct, much less her instincts when it came to unarmed combat, was probably not something Shizuka should be doing too often, if at all.

At least she managed to land gracefully enough after getting thrown.

Shizuka put up something more of a fight this time around, but clearly being tossed about by the Mantis was irking her Centipede pride.

They reset, and this time the Mantis sought to use the Moshi's momentum against them as they were as flexible as water.

Shizuka, again, came close to holding her own but was definitively overcome by the Mantis' superior flexibility.

Opportunities spent to mitigate Strife.

They reset, and now the penultimate round would see the Mantis utilizing technical ability and grace to get the Centipede out of the ring.

This took more effort, the length of the match starting to catch up with the Mantis.
