Hajime almost timidly stepped into the ring. This was absolutely, positively not his element. Looking up at the people watching, he made a short bow of apology before turning to await his opponent.

The Sparrow's gait was steadier and slow as usual as he stepped into the ring as well, a calm, friendly, contained smile on his face as he bowed deeply to Hajime. Nothing in his walking or his pose indicated any great familiarity with unarmed fighting whatsoever... but he still tried to act and look reassuring - including to his opponent.
"Good morning, Kitsuki-sama! Let's do our best, ne?", he said with a smile while still bowing.

Hajime raised an eyebrow. "Right. Our best." He then moved his legs into something approximating a stance, but...well, it just wasn't right.
"Come at me, Suzume-sama."

The Sparrow nodded to Hajime as if trying to encourage him - or, well, both - and got into a stance that, while not exactly practiced or proficient, was a bit more confident than the Dragon's. He started trying to circle around the Dragon to create an opening of some sort, and after some time he felt he might have seen one...

(We'll be alternating who rolls first as agreed in PMs)
But he was nothing if not smooth, and after rolling himself back into the ring, he grabbed at Senseki's ankles and twisted himself upright, doing his level best to flip him out of the ring.

After the first throw, Senseki does his best to keep aware of Hajime's movements, and even tries to move away from his catch with a quick side-step... but his reaction is much too slow. Hajime's grab on the Sparrow's ankle is firm, and the Dragon manages to get him off-balance and out of the ring even while he stands.
The Sparrow does his best to stand up quickly, get back to the ring and rush to Hajime again, trying to find another opening, but he clearly over-exposes himself while trying to do it...
Hajime then returned to the center of the ring to plant his feet and prepare for the Suzume. He was like a reedy, effeminate fortress! And the moment the Suzume made his move, his superior...strength would...yeah, his strength...right...would help him flip the Suzume out of the ring.
Man, he needed the Suzume to blow it. Because if he didn't win now, the next round was not going to be pretty.

Senseki's offensive clearly backfired (heh), and he could do nothing against Hajime's counterattack... Even if it wasn't as savage as it could have been!
As Hajime set himself to the centre of the ring again, however, the Sparrow stood up straight, and, this time, instead of trying to throw himself at the Dragon, he set himself to a solid stance, moving towards Hajime with slow, but purposeful steps. His advance was calm, but inexorable as he closed in, held to the Dragon's arms, then to his hips, and pushed him slowly but certainly out of the grid.
That made it 2/2!
Returning to the centre again, the Sparrow tried to focus on Hajime's movements and intentions - not analysing them, but trying to just 'feel' them, to be ready for his last advance towards him.
He felt... something. Not much, but something. Maybe it would be enough...
To say Hajime was non-plussed by the failure of his Earth Stance would be an understatement. Well, there was only one thing left to do...
...but the blankness was overwhelming. With all effort zapped by the power of zen, Hajime was entirely at Senseki's mercy. At least Hajime didn't feel badly about it. In fact, he didn't feel much at all.

The final bout of activity between the two men was odd, to say the least. In fact, it wasn't so much a bout - more an odd waiting on both sides. Senseki tried to focus on the Dragon's movements to get ready for them, and the Dragon... didn't move much, really. Or feel much. Or do much. It took Senseki some time before he noticed they were both trying to feel each other's intentions without doing much else... and then he finally moved forward, and with a combination of a gentle leg sweep and an equally gentle push to unbalance Hajime, he managed to force him to step outside the ring.
It was most likely not the most exciting match Zang would watch today... but both men had clearly done their best, as they set out to do. That best might have been somewhat underwhelming, but their best it was.
After Hajime stepped outside, Senseki soon gave him a gentle, calm smile, bowed deeply again to the Dragon and stood ready to help him up if needed - although it might not even be necessary given the gentle push.
"Thanks for the company, Kitsuki-sama. You fought valiantly!", he said - and he meant it!
