[Kaito Oubaihime]

Some at the play others, the Kaito with her failure from the day before trains. She has her bow ready and arrow knocked. She let it fly.

[Hiroto]

Also not particularly in the mood to watch the play, Hiroto also decided to take advantage of the dojo. He noticed the Kaito and gave her a bow before taking up his own shooting position

[Kaito Oubaihime]

The Kaito nodded to Hiroto. She knocked the next arrow into the target. "I hope Inari no kami has blessed you this evening." She greeted the young Mantis.

[Hiroto]

Hiroto nodded, also taking his shot.

"They have. And yourself Kaito-san?" he replied.

[Kaito Oubaihime]

"I have..." She made the next shot. "We seem to have something in common where did you train to shoot like that?"

[Hiroto]

He took another shot easily.

"On the islands of silk and spice, and later on the bucking deck of the Silvered Rose." he says. "Bows are somewhat of a necessity when your enemies are separated from you by a good space of turbulent sea. And if you can shoot from a deck as it rolls upon the high seas, shooting on solid ground is simplicity itself."

He glanced over to her.

"Though as I understand it, your family's relationship with the bow is more...spiritual?"

[Kaito Oubaihime]

"Ah... hai... It is a weapon favored by our founder. As you said it is a bond that imbue the arrows with the kami to defeat our enemies. Lady Kaito sama used one to defeat an oni." She took another shot. "I am not really at that level Mantis sama. I can barely get this last one."

[Hiroto]

A small shrug.

"You got it though, that's the important part." he said, taking another shot.

"And you're far and above better at the bow that many of the people at the event. You would think that Shiba Raizo was thoroughly unfamiliar with what a bow was the way he held it."

[Kaito Oubaihime]

Oubaihime giggled. "Raizo san is more a upfront fighter than a range attacker." She let one more arrow fly. "I have seen how he has been wounded by the enemy. I tried my best to not leave scars but bushi think that scars are honor and reminders of resisting the call of Emma-O."

[Hiroto]

Hiroto took another shot.

"Well, some bushi at least. I'm sure there's lots of Crane who would wailed and gnash their teeth at being hideously disfigured if they so much as nicked themselves shaving." he offered, warming to the Kaito.

"Truly, it must be difficult to shave with your whole face with but one cut."
