Kyuden Shika

Having left his proper yari in his room, as befitting being a guest in foreign lands, Bo was carefully looking over and feeling out the practice spears that the dojo had to offer. Satisfied that he has found one closest in heft and feel to his own he places it aside and begins stretching as he waits for Narumi to arrive.

It wasn't long, barely time enough for the mountain to warm up before the Otter entered the dojo.
Certainly worn down, but not to the extent she'd been the day before, there's a noticeable weight to her shoulders.
"Asahina-san," she greeted Bo on approach, and everything went hazy. One-on-one, she could hardly raise her eyes to meet his, and that devastated her. Instead she brushed damp locks of hair from her face.

Bo nods as she enters and finishes his current stretch before approaching, "Hi Usogawa-san!"

"Hi..."
Was the room getting hot?
She rubbed a temple lightly, and looked way, way up to find his face.
"It's um. A bit rainy.. um, outside."
She could've facepalmed.

"Yeah things are a bit damp aren't they? I hope you're not feelin' cold. Come in and get comfortable."

"I don't mind this weather at all, to be honest. It's soothing. More tolerable than oppressive heat and blinding sun."
She'd follow after the mountain pensively. "This is regretfully my first time inside the Shika's dojo, I don't, um, have much reason to come. I imagine you've spent a fair bit of time here? Keeping up with your regime?"

He nods, "A few times. My duty here is the weddin' stuff but that doesn't mean I can let myself get rusty either."

"Of course- we must'n't forget the most important reason why we're here; to show honour to our families and secure a harmonious match..." Her gaze fell. Conceal, don't feel, don't let it show.
"I'm sure your skills are tremendous, Asahina-san, and look forward to your demonstration."

The first part kind of goes over his head but he smiles at the latter, "I hope you enjoy it! Anythin' you wanted to see?"

"Just go about your usual regime, and this one will find happiness," she answered. "I'll.. um.. I suppose I should go sit and let you get back to it."
