He glanced back to the ronin. Smiled.

"It's, ah... not the only way, but it's my way."

Koi nodded, and with her a moment she closed her eyes feeling the water kami and all that she learnt as an actress and felt the motions out slowly fluidly but not quite right but perhaps making progress.

Koi whispered to Aimi with a playful smile. "Aimi-chan, I am open for private lessons too.." Hoping that perhaps it might distract the ronin in a friendly, teasing and exciting way that had the underlining suggestion of consent. "I am no longer with June after all.."

She glanced at the Phoenix. "If he can keep up with us.."

He glanced back to the ronin. Smiled.

"It's, ah... not the only way, but it's my way."

"And a very fine way it is," Aimi murmurs with a smile, her eyes saying what her lips cannot.

Koi whispered to Aimi with a playful smile. "Aimi-chan, I am open for private lessons too.." Hoping that perhaps it might distract the ronin in a friendly, teasing and exciting way that had the underlining suggestion of consent. "I am no longer with June after all.."

She glanced at the Phoenix. "If he can keep up with us.."

Koi was practically preening at the moment, fully smitten in her playfulness the moment earlier in the day gone by. "I hope there will be grappling involved, I need practice on that as well." She was practicing the stance again, and slowly following the flow of the kata to something her Dad showed her when she was young for those with the eyes of a bushi it definitely had some essence to a Dragonfly kata within in.

"Ah, one thing at a time, Koi-san. Grappling practice can come later," Aimi says with a laugh. Honestly, this girl, she was just impossible. She was also an excellent distraction, as Aimi turned on one heel and lunged for Raizo, her heavy false-dao of wood swinging enthusiastically.

[OOC: I am more than prepared to handwave a fair bit here- Raizo's a trained bushi, but he's not that skilled since he's just a starting build and this is as much flirting by fighting as anything else ]

Raizo was many things, but renowned for his quick reactions wasn't one of them.

Luckily, Aimi had a short distance to cover before she connected, so he had plenty of time to contemplate her form.

Her kenjutsu form, naturally.

He barely got his own practice dao- since he hadn't switched back to the bokken- up in time, performing the sort of parry one would never do with a katana.

"VERY sneaky!"

He didn't bother hiding his approval, either.

As Tessho has told him more than once, "if you ain't cheating, you ain't trying."

Koi watched patiently allowing Shiba to be distracted by Aimi before she moved, coiling into a pivot bring her bokken in a messy strike that would strike the thigh, or upper waist if not parried.

Koi called out frowning. "Darn, I have been meaning to get my ropes out for a while." Hoping that might throw a proverbial spanner into fight or at least to make Aimi blush as she was so very cute flustered.

"Ma, Shiba-san, you need to... urk!" Aimi's teasing laugh is interrupted as the bushi grabs her by the wrist, and suddenly she's overextended, stumbling past him and just about keeping her feet.

"Whose side are you even on?" she growls playfully at Koi, even as she tries wrenching her hand out of Raizo's grip, or at least bringing her dao up to protect her from any attacks while she is vulnerable.
