In sturdy but well-appointed training clothes a Scorpion samurai spun through the training hall, bokken darting like brush strokes. Almost as soon as it started the masked figure froze in stance, shifting with exaggerated slowness before whirling into another maneuver just when the moment was right.
It was getting late, and many students were already off to dinner. But there was still time for a little practice before ending the day.
