Nesshin's face falls into slack neutrality, and he surges forward like the wind, point of his spear dropping and scooping up as he thrusts ahead. His obvious target is the knee of Hajime's front leg.

Hajime sidesteps the attack easily enough, putting on a sudden burst of speed to pass Nesshin as his bokken lashes out to catch him fully in the side.
