The Lion brought his unflinching Stone Matsu facade to the dueling ring. The Unicorn, his friend on some level, could see a slow building fire in his eyes that was ready to lance out, hopefully at the right time.

Pass, 1 bonus success, Opportunities cancel strife. Focus of 3 and taking 2 strife to add 2.

Duelling TL;DR attempt
-Roll ring of choice x meditation vs TN1 - add your focus for your initiative. Secretly, you can take extra strife to increase it. Do this once, highest score wins.
-Each round(R), Take R strife.
-On your turn, choose a stance and take 1 of four main action types: attack, scheme, support. Support lets you draw, so you need to do that. Unless you know an Iaijutsu kata, you need to use a support action to draw your sword. TN to hit people is 2, 3 if they are in air stance.
-Repeat until:
-One side goes over their fatigue
-If they go over in composure, out of turn, you may attempt a critical strike action.
-One side spends 2 opportunities for a critical strike (cannot be done to an opponent in earth stance)
