[D12, MM] Duel event: Kheree vs Ishi

The Lion brought his unflinching Stone Matsu facade to the dueling ring. The Unicorn, his friend on some level, could see a slow building fire in his eyes that was ready to lance out, hopefully at the right time.

-Roll ring of choice x meditation vs TN1 - add your focus for your initiative. Secretly, you can take extra strife to increase it. Do this once, highest score wins.
-Each round(R), Take R strife.
-On your turn, choose a stance and take 1 of four main action types: attack, scheme, support. Support lets you draw, so you need to do that. Unless you know an Iaijutsu kata, you need to use a support action to draw your sword. TN to hit people is 2, 3 if they are in air stance.
-Repeat until:
-One side goes over their fatigue
-If they go over in composure, out of turn, you may attempt a critical strike action.
-One side spends 2 opportunities for a critical strike (cannot be done to an opponent in earth stance)

the boken was a bit of a unfamillar weight compared to her scimitar, but she could adapt to it, and so she moved unorthodox, hoping that surprise would give her the advantage that she needed there as she moved foreward and hit .

In the end, the Unicorn was the fastest, tagging the point of Ishioka's leading shoulder for no appreciable effect save everyone could see that she had bested the Lion in the moment before his own strike could land.
