Entering, Narumi made appropriate bows, retrieved a bokkan, and tried to remain calm. Wielding the wood was unfamiliar, but she hadn't missed a physical event yet and she wasn't about to end the miai doing so.
She nodded to the Kitsu. "At your leisure, Kitsu-san."

With a vicious speed and a crack not unlike thunder, Moshu's bokken whips from his drawing stance across the back of Narumi's hands, disarming her before she could even swing her blade. With the same deadly look in his eyes, he passed back the bokken to the dojo assistant, only stopping once he had been confirmed victor. Once done, he bowed as appropriate and moved to Narumi's side.

"Oh my word please, accept my apologies. Are you alright, Usogawa-san?"

The sharp strike of pain to her hands causes her to drop the bokkan before she can react and a surprised half-laugh escapes before she starts shaking her hands to relieve the sting, their backs already turning bright red.

"That was great," she replies, and nods in concession.
